    The coating was handcrafted recently in genuine leather.

    So the backing is original but the front is aftermarket/recently done? Weren't these canvas or alcantara? originally.

    The front was in canvas but very destroied...it was recently remade in genuine leather.

    It's been posted for a few days in the classifieds and could've already sold for all I know. Unfortunately, only 1 seat being sold whereas most buyers want a pair. Also, seller's 1st post on FChat was to sell the seats, so he's not a known quantity. Plus the seller wants payment in advance and is located in Italy. Just not an ideal combo to complete a quick sale in the US. The seller might be as honest as the day is long and the transaction might all work out in the end but caveat emptor.

    Just so you know there are a lot of scams with paypal.....and you are only covered with paypal if the purchase transaction is completed on ebay.
    I have accepted paypal on occasion however when I reasonably know the person.

    Paying with paypal, if the transaction did not go well, you can open a dispute and is reimbursed. With bank transfer is better to know the seller, i agree...so, what are other way to pay the goods when you buy it online?! have always paid with paypal and I have never had problems...if you prefer you can see the same seat on my ebay account where i have more than 680 positives feedback.
    I m not here to fool anyone...i for one do international purchases with PayPal.

    You should list the seat for sale on EBAY .....post a link here and then the interested parties can bid on it.
    That way the paypal purchase is covered by EBAY Purchase Protection and all parties are comfortable with the transaction.
