Is Lewis Hamilton significantly better than all the drivers currently on the grid

Let's poll past and present drivers, team owners, constuctors, and professional pundits because your opinions are wanting...

 

Okay, you get their email addresses, and ask them to all sign up to fchat, rob will be chuffed, and so will all the other subscribers here having so many well informed new contributors. Once we have a good selection of those past and present drivers, team principals, engineers and personnel, we can have a mega poll of who is the best driver of the current range, based on their ability, and ignoring the car they currently drive.

Until that's the case, the poll would be useless as there's no point having us 'normal' people voting without their input to hone the results. While you are walking around the pit lane in Singapore, let us know what you look like so we can try to save some footage for you for the future!

Oh, by the way, what you call schooled (at Spa) i call cheated, that's why elton got a penalty, for being a cheater.....he did exacly teh same in the first chicane at Monxa the previous year, to bad he got away with it back then....

They usually say that "It's not the arrow but the Indian" However, in F1 it's a combination of both and in most cases the arrow. In this particular case I think it's the silver arrow.

 

That is what I get for having a discussion with a person that doesn't comprehend 2007 F1 World Championships standings.
Alonso the guy that acts like an animal on top of his car when he was winning with Renault. Then when the rookie started to wipe the floor with him he decided to throw the whole team under the bus and throw away both championships instead of fighting like a MAN on track.
The only guy in the history of the sport that needed his teammate to purposely crash and risk lives so he can get a win.

Now he talks crap about Ferrari at every chance he gets because he couldn't pass a newbie like Petrov.

I've never seen a more corrupt character in F1. No wonder you're his biggest fan.

 

I have to agree with him on Alonso..the guy is a scumbag...but so is Elton

 

Putting characters aside those two are the most talented drivers in F1

 

Who cares about the poll?
Like the polls on Fchat are the be-all and end-all. I didn't even vote so it's already flawed

We have Schumacher ahead of Senna on the GOAT poll. That can only mean one of two things:

1. People are making their decision based purely on stats.
(It's ironic because that is what you guys always complain about)

2. Because he drove for Ferrari

Would the result be the same if he never drove for Ferrari?
Would the results be the same if you had a worldwide F1 poll?

 

Uh oh, I've upset you, I'm so sorry. Was my argument too factual, did you check the points? I'm not going to argue with you, Alonso and Hamilton tied, and alonso was thrown under the bus by the team and RETAILIATED by making sure his results didn't get them a championship, and happened to be truthful when telling the FIA about cheating..... I thought we are supposed to be honest and genuine in dealing with others? Is there something wrong with it? If your employer lies about their product, would you back them in court just because he pays you? I hope not, it would make you an accessory.

If this gem is true, then why is Senna second? He didn't drive for Ferrari? Michaels stats are extraordinary, and no one manipulates the data to show he is the king, they don't need to. It's eltons stats that need manipulation and misaligned comparisons to make points, of which his fans seem rather adept and forceful at.

Maybe if your polls were:
Who is the best current driver on the grid?
Who is your favorite current driver?

Then you wouldn't look like a troll obsessed with Hamilton bashing.

The point was that Senna is not ahead of Schumacher on Fchat because people are making their decision based purely on Schumacher's numbers or because he drove for Ferrari.
