    Nice (and pricy) project. Good to see that there still are project cars out there. The car appears pretty original seen from the pictures but in need of some serious TLC.

    The trunk is missing and based on the sheet metal, I am guessing it was hit hard in the rear.

    By looking at the valve cover and air box, possibly a later 246 motor? Looks like a complete rear clip up to the doors including later bumpers.

    Looks very much like the original engine and rear clip for that matter.....Just think that some hopeful soul started removing the paint in preparation for a new paint job. See compendium page 85 for further engine details. The 206 engine appears very much like the very early L series engine, so it could in theory be a early 246, but I find that unlikely.

    it`s a 206 GT #00230, original Bianco Polo Park - nero 161
    engine is matching no.
    yes, the bumpers aren`t correct....

    ... or fuel related rear body fire.
    By the looks of it this is likely proving to be a very extensive AND expensive project needing everything with very little or quite possibly nothing worth "preserving".
