:) We'll find out soon enough, but surely not?

TBH, I hadn't bothered watching it until your "review" above!...... Wish I hadn't now!..... :(

OK, he's still young(ish), has a job & lifestyle most here would kill for.

But even I've gotta say that was pretty poor! Seb plays a reasonable guitar I believe. And Eddie's almost as good on the drums as he thinks he is! ;) Dunno about any of the other guys - But I do know they won't be asking Elton to join them anytime soon! ;)

    Cheers,
    Ian

I say good for him. He clearly does whatever he wants and doesn't give a hoot what anyone thinks.

Didn't know he was a Tesla fan. Or wanted to be JV. If he opens a restaurant in Montreal, I'll be in awe..;)

Not a fan but don't despise him either. He made the right choice to go to mb so good on him for that. He's in the best car by far-luckily for him the no testing rule helps maintain his healthy advantage. Allow testing and develop and he'd be in trouble IMHO. Don't understand why his rabid fans can't fathom this simple fact-when he was in a midfield car he was a midfield driver.

I think we'd all like to know the answer to that one.

Has anyone noticed how nice, peaceful and positive it's been around here lately?

I have no idea why.....just an observation.

Also, I see with this poll that there are quite a number of people who rate Lewis as their favourite driver......and not ONE of them posts the endless rubbish that we've been subjected to over the last couple of years.

    Agreed

I find that so refreshing in today's PC times. Maybe Hami makes an ass out of himself but who cares. I love Seb but do think some of his end of race comms back to the team are there because it is the right thing to say and because he knows the world/sponsors are listening

    Same here.

Maybe we are unfair to Seb but some of that stuff sounds stilted/rehearsed

Dunno, even from his 1st win with Toro Rosso he was blabbing on in Italian. I think all in all he's a genuine nice guy, but does speak his mind. I don't have the feeling he's a prima donna. Refreshing.

I find it interesting that statistically, ham is actually outperforming in this poll... There's is clearly more appreciation of him than you would realise from the emotional posting of the past.

I think there are always people rooting for the one that wins as this is the most satisfying way. That does not mean that they are really "fans". Just a few hardcore fans keep on posting to get reactions...

In Germany we have this with football: Bayern Munich is about as polarizing as Hamilton is, people either like them or hate them and then there are a few that purely cheer for them because they are winning and it seems to be more comfortable to cheer for those winning than being frustrated every weekend by your team loosing.

I think it is more interesting were those cheering for him were in the years before Mercedes because I do not remember Hamilton being this present in this forum.

Red Bull didn't really get any noticeable hate on this forum until they started beating the F-cars. Winning can also bring on a lot of anti-fans.
