I have no idea what the mkt is going to do - if the mkt continues to sell off prices will drop, seems obvious.
The market had a major sell off last week and look what happened. As many people bought as sold. When the market hits a certain low people buy in. The value is there. I too don't know what will happen tomorrow. But to try and tie CS values to the stock market is a stretch. I think all collectibles had very high asking prices over the last couple years. I'm not sure so many actually traded hands at those prices. So people that want to sell are getting more realistic. All that means is the folks that can't afford to keep a CS who bought in to make money are going to get out and the guy buying it from them can afford to keep it. It's good in the long term. I bought mine in 2010. They'll never get that cheap again so I don't care what happens. There are still no cars I'd sell my CS for. CS looks too good.
Hagerty has corrected their chart to now refect only the Stradale (it use to reflect Modena trends until I insisted with management there that the Stradale stands alone). Its a little better now if not still a little light. And they have yet to correct the HP stat. https://www.hagerty.ca/valuationtools/HVT/VehicleSearch/Report?vbe=67927
I wonder how many people on here think they have tier 1 cars?! And does mileage affect what tier they are in?
"sweater era" people will soon realize what "limited production" truly means with the CS & Scuderia. Just got an unexpected call from stealership-that-shall-not-be-named that they "miraculously" procured an additional specialé allocation. lol, what a pariah of a joke...those specialé guys are so convinced their cars will be produced in far fewer quantities rivaling the CS. lololololol.
Agreed this is a business for Ferrari!!!! Don't believe the hype people!!! Why is Ferrari one of the only car company's that does not list what number car it is out of its limited number production cars?! Not even with their hyper cars like Laferrari and Enzo! They always make more!
Despite all the recent conjecture on market pricing, the CS is the best "over all" Ferrari within the last 11 years and will always have a special interest value that will keep the market price relatively high. It certainly is not the most powerful or the most technologically advanced but it is the best over all... IMO.

You know I really like that scoop. Are there any detailed pics of it from the underside and top to see how well it is done?
Hang onto your CS' ladies and gents! Having just read the Ferrari IPO prospectus, these cars are truly truly limited edition in comparison.
If they do a limited edition "sport platform" car every 5 years then none of them or really "limited edition". CS, SCUD, 16M, Speciale can be lumped into the same category and before you know it there are 30K limited edition "sport platform" cars. Just pick the one that fits your budget. Right? It's the same thing the watch industry has done and now there are too many "special editions" to choose from. The market is flooded. Don't get me wrong. I'd do the same thing if I were Ferrari.
Presumably the sport platform equivalent in 2002-2004 would have included about the same number of cars since it would include 360 coupes and spiders in addition to the CS's. The question that seems to be unanswerable with any level of confidence is how many CS, Scud, and Speciale's were built. It's very frustrating that Ferrari doesn't just publish the production numbers. I sorta get not publishing while the cars are in production but after production has ceased I don't see why the information is withheld. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I took it off the car and had it re-clear coated; per Mr. Corolla it was made by one of Chip Foose guys in southern California. It was really after the look of the scoop on the Maserati M12. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login

Does anyone know what happened to 139031, I really hope no one got hurt. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Is the Challenge Stradale Registry down or no longer available? I tried to research this to confirm. If this is the car I think it is, there was a loss of control in the Point Magu area just off the PCH near Oxnard and Camarillo, CA. The car flipped several times and, tragically, the driver did not survive. Very sad. RIP Ferrari driver dies, passenger injured after fiery crash - VC-Star
