    I'd rather a laferrari than that monster, can you see it going around any circuit at a decent speed? It's way too big and bulky.

    I'll give it that, but I'd be more jealous of him getting hold of cat woman, either the original or the Alicia silver stone in her prime version! (Or what she batgirl, I only remember the tights)

    The DiNero production will be a high budget spanning Enzo's life. The Bale production will only focus on the events surrounding 1957.

    The quality of the film has less to do with Deniro or Bale and far more to do with the scriptwriter and the director. I don't know who is doing the Deniro one but it's a sad day when Michael Mann is entrusted to depict Enzo. While I'll forever love Mann for Thief and Heat, he is over the hill artistically and has been for some time. I hope I'm proven wrong but his recent output really stinks. Heat, his magnum opus, was 20 years ago.

    While I'm in critical mode I'll also bemoan the fact that Enzo's life is being portrayed by American writers, directors and actors. You can't divorce the man or his company from his culture - it would be amazing to see his life portrayed by native Italians, speaking Italian, with a script written by Italians and a picture directed by an Italian.

    That would give it an authentic flavor that no American team will be able to capture.

    Christian Bale is a good actor. But as Enzo? I could not see Bale pulling that off. Not to mention they look nothing alike. I agree, it should be someone with Italian descent. I'm sure it will be shot in Italy though. Bale seems a little too dark to play Enzo.

    I was puzzled when two Wyatt Earp movies appeared about the same time both entertaining.

    I think I saw the Batmobile at Buttonwillow a couple years ago with a French woman driver prepping it for Laguna the next week...
