You have no clue how my cars are taken care of, what advice I have been given and how my cars are checked and serviced. You're a pretty dogmatic guy - fine - you like to keep going until you have the last word - life's too short so fine too. There's no need to make unnecessary insinuations.

I apologize for getting personal. We are all Ferrari enthusiasts, and I'm just trying to learn and share my experiences.

Someone suggested (maybe Jasone??) that Ferrari simply forgot to remove the engine break-in procedures from the new owner's manuals. Maybe, but that just doesn't seem likely to me. Just out of curiousity I found a McLaren 650S owner's manual and their engine break-in procedures are even more restrictive than Ferrari. IMHO there must be a reason both McLaren and Ferrari include some type of engine break-in procedures.

Amost perfect: a more colourful stripe would work better IMO.

Oh and I just noticed the yellow bits... meh :D

I love the white with gold wheels combo. They yellow calipers match the yellow mesh seat inserts. I would of put yellow or gold outlining on the black stripes. Make it pop out more.

I wasn't sure where to post this message, I guess this is the right place. I am actually buying a used 458 Speciale and realized the back bumper of the car is somehow damaged. See picture enclosed, I was told by the dealer it is normal on Speciale, do you have such damage on your car (stone chips) ? Thanks in advance. Image Unavailable, Please Login

Yes same problem on mine. I was disappointed to see it after my first drive. I even had the whole car wrapped to protect it from stone chips but the plastic was coming off in that spot. I took it back to the guys who wrapped it and they said there's not much they could do for that particular spot. I'm going to just drive it and get it re-sprayed every now and then.

Big thanks for your answer, I was concerned the car was damaged on the track. I also have some other damage see picture below, do you have this as well ? Thanks.

That damage in not limited to Speciale's, I've had it on both my old 360 CS and my Scud. Its the grit off the road that "sand blasts" the rear (And sometimes front) wheel arches. On my CS that part of my bumper got very pitted and removed most of the top coat of paint over time. I've seen cars with protective film that seems to prevent/reduce the damage.

In the case of this car you are stuck with it unless you get the bumper repainted, but its never bothered me enough to worry about it.

Looks like some one ran over a curb or a large stone. Is the damage cosmetic or deeper?
