Glad I was able to see some true jam/ballad bands in their prime or at least in the twilight when they remembered who they were.

To add, the tones and collaboration of the singers on Take A Load Off bring tears to me every time. So deep.

 

Great choice, Brian. The Weight is one of those songs that a hundred people can listen to and come to 100 different interpretations. When I hear it, I think of my dad & how hard he had to work. So, yeah, tears here too.

AIC is the constant man, can't quit them! But my mood's improved and morale is good! I was rockin' some Mad Season today, Alexisonfire and Sublime, had myself a cigar and some BBQ.

Sublime was one of those bands that sounded like no one else when they broke into major play. Kind of a rap-ska-punk fusion. Their leader singer ODd just before they hit the big time IIRC...T

 

Mad season is so good.
