It's a fun show, but I don't know anyone who takes this show very serious as a concours. I'll be there again and my car has been chosen to be judged. Not a prayer on an award and they did not even ask for pictures.

Going, not being judged. It's just as good,if not better, to walk around the parking lot at this one.

I'm going/showing, but never expect an award here. Great venue, beautiful show both in the show, and in the parking lot!!

A nice showing of cars but the parking is horrendous and it draws too many (more than other shows) non-car people out looking for a way to spend the day.

i like the show. had my xke judged few years ago but now just display my lotus. have a wedding later that same day though so not sure will be able to make it.

anyone know what napolis is bringing? might have to be late to wedding if he brings the new scg's

went to the glen cove show yesterday. lots of same cars that show up to americana. anyone else here there? would have been much more enjoyable if wasnt blasting heavy metal all day

I also received my confirmation email on Friday. They asked for a "contact phone #" for day of the show. Same as in previous years. It's a great show, beautiful cars both in the show, and in the parking lot. The judging doesn't concern me, as I don't expect to win an award. My wife loves it there (I can't say that my credit card enjoys the extra exercise), they lay out a nice spread for breakfast and lunch. If you haven't heard by the end of the week, reach out to Heather Dascalopoulo, 516-627-6700

Decent showing; between the display cars, the parking lot, and the dealer cars. Worth the 15 minute drive for me. I'll be "parking lot pimpin" again with either the horse or bull depending on weather.

8am, if you want to see stuff without all the insanity of car folks and shoppers clogging the place up.

A buddy is trying to convince his friend to bring his Cheetah. That would be a show stopper. Beautiful example.

Yeah emails confirming participation went out last week. Gotta say they are off to a good start; usually there is mass confusion regarding who is in and who is not. Its the last good show of the season but I agree this is just a concours de popular. As much as the people there are a bunch of squids, its hard to complain considering this event is dropped in the middle of their gathering spot. Kind of like complaining about moving next to an airport.

I will be there. They picked my '83 308 GTS to be judged. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone. It's always a good time.

Sorry if you took that the wrong way. I was referring to the people who show up around 10:30 to do shopping and walk around the place with little regard for the cars that are there. I wasn't referring to the "car folks" :)
