I think he is a talented but very aggressive driver that hit everything on lap one except the flagstand

If it was pro's I would be ok, if that is a gentlemans race with individuals driving their own cars I think it is reckless as it is not NASCAR. Bumping into several cars in 90 seconds and aggressively pushing your nose into everyones line during a wet race just shows he cares less about his bodywork than others.

Yes, aggression is not a good thing in wet conditions.

Just curious - does anybody recognize the track? I was trying, but couldn't...

What I have experience by watching those races is that although you are suppose to be a gentlemen during the races, once the adrenaline starts flowing through those drivers they can really start going at each other. You'll be surprise on how good some of those guys are.

    Awful , just awful.
A bunch of mediocre amateurs pretending to be race car drivers, I bet they all brag about their "racing".
Taking a Pilota course and a couple days at Barber does not make one a real race car driver.

The track tends to clear the way for guys like this, because they are either going to run one or both of you off the road and end a race short. Skilled in the wet or not, I think shooters like this have poor racecraft.

Hmm...looks like he's faster than everyone else. Seems kosher to me...isn't that what you're supposed to do when you race?

    No. No it doesn't.

But I had a hell of a lot of fun pretending to be a race car driver!

+1. I actually didn't see him hit anyone... Maybe I missed it...? He pursues every opening, aggressively, but that is what racing is about, no? He didn't force anyone off the track, or anything like it... :)

It's odd how strongly many people feel about the Road America Challenge crash and feel that the front car cut off Jim's car (when it could be easily deducted he was keeping his apex), then on the other extreme is this guy physically forcing his car into spaces where there is no room and people think he is a great racer.

He hit 3 cars in the first 90 secs of the race (at :42 secs, 1:04 secs, 1:26 secs)

To me not only is the guy reckless, it's clear he is saying if you dont "give way" you car will be physically bumped and dented (in the rain no less). That's fine for pro's in sponsors cars but not cool at all if it is individuals in their own cars in a "gentleman's race."
