There is a website concerning the book presently being prepared. All will be revealed upon its launch. Thank you for your interest (and patience thus far).

I have the announcement brochure that came out in, when....2007? It has been a while, hasn't it? I'm confident it will have been worth the wait!

If it comes out at that price that will be quite a shame.

    IT AIN'T SO!

    Darned I.T. !!!!!

I haven't a clue what is going on here. This is the first I have ever seen of that site.

Nor do I have any notion what website that may be, nor who has posted it, nor how someone here has found it.

But I will put all the above right pretty damn quick...

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    DCN (deeply, deeply p-----d off)

That alleged 'Inside Track' website is posted - or has been accessed - improperly and was absolutely NOT either official, finalised nor intended for public view or assessment. It was a very speculative test shot on Squarespace made by a web company we were considering at the time... We had never seen it before yesterday here on Ferrarichat. Sigh... Sorry fellers.

I see it has now been taken down. It's comforting how rapidly techies will react when one applies a blowtorch (on full blast) to their underpinnings.

The good news is that the proper job is indeed in preparation (at last).

    DCN (still unamused)

    Well done.

I'm glad the F-Chat "bookies" could help out. Member "trashi" deserves all the credit. (See post 1853).

    See you over at TNF!

The Bosnian internet bandidoes once mirrored Wolfgang's guitar website, (there's an old thread here on it) they were actually getting payments, and not sending guitars!!

    Glad you got it sorted!!

Apparently this one wasn't a scam, just a proposed web site that somehow actually got onto the web.

(I have no idea how any of this works. Obviously.:))

Question for the more experienced collectors. What's a good price for alfa romeo zagato by Marcello Minerbi? I've seen prices anywhere from 150-500 dollars. It's not terribly easy to find, so I feel like anything below 500 is a steal.

Just received this. It is more than just provenance about 2119GT.Anyone who has a great appreciation and interest for this group of Ferrari cars as a whole needs to get this. I will do a "brief book report" later in the Vintage section. For now, there is a vast amount of of discussion in this volume that applies to the entire group of the 250 SWBs as well as this particular car which is the special one. Enjoy. tonga's crew

I haven't received my copy yet. Courier service UK-to-US is, shall we say, leisurely.

To our British friends.....Have you read the new N.A.R.T. book from Veloce yet? Apparently we won't get it in the States for a couple of months.

I had this from Hortons Books last week:
"Unfortunately the NART book has been pushed back to late October/early November. Realistically I expect it will be the second week of November before they filter through to us"

I wouldn't hold my breath with Veloce.co.uk. Though; Because amazon offers 'Look Inside' there's hope, that it will be published soon.

    Best Regards

Well, Veloce originally said the book would be out in September. The music and movie industries seem to get releases out on the dates they advertise. I don't know why publishing can't do the same, or at least be a little closer to the target.

With the Sackey 288GTO book they missed their announced publishing date by almost two years :)

    Best Regards
