thanks for sharing more pictures of the rear end. is there any statement of Ferruccio or Tonino or Ing. Stanzani or any other period expert available regarding the change of the rear end in the time 1966 to 1967 ? Carissimi saluti Ben
I personally believe *Mitchel and Britten* (thats how the company was called in a April 1968 period car magazine) aka *Mitchel & Britten* was active after June 1967: RM mentioned S/N 3096 in their 2008 Monterey auction with a "Mitchell Brittain" sign-off date 26 August 1967 Carissimi saluti Ben
Thanks for the reply and i understand that stated such information. Sharing of that information would be highly appreciated. Grazie mille Carissimi saluti Ben
I gave it a try, but this photo is so close to the previous one, I was not able to make it any better than the last one. Cheers Jim
Ing. Dallara explained they tested several configurations of exhaust rear ends : uncluttered/inside the hexagonal grill (middle/below), below the down valence of rear hood, knowing that some were affecting the heat of boot trunk (never knew what would be inside it...). Bob Wallace also explained it because of heat conduction to the whole hexagonal grill and somebody could be injured/burnt, but he didn't care about that heat fact and selected the straight one
Many thanks for sharing Ing. Dallaras statement. Porsche produced a certain time such exhaust version as shown in the picture, but later discontinued. I always wondered about the heat risk of that rear bumper... Carissimi saluti Ben Image Unavailable, Please Login
Jim, many thanks again. My software did its best now again and attached close-ups eventually help ? A single-tip exhaust being visible ? Obviously it is much easier to judge on the killer legs... Carissimi saluti Ben Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice work. I think that is as pronounced as it is going to get with that photo. Agreed the killer legs are much easier to judge. Cheers Jim

The location is Earls Court. I am making enquiries about the date.... To my eyes the Miura has RHD wipers [pointing away from the driver]
Yes, I agree with this, looking at the image again, what I thought was a steering-wheel rim is actually a wiper pointing away. There cant be too many RHD lime green P400S?
Joe: you seem to be a real genuine womanizer.... You immediately understand what SWMBO urgently needs. Dine Wine Eat Sleep. Btw: Ferruccio was a womanizer as well. Here we see him in a nice restaurant. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7euJVBOtuqY Carissimi saluti Ben Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
