    I am in NO way affiliated with this but saw the add on craigslist this am. What do you guys think. Possible or BS? They are asking $85,000



    Collector is retiring and is selling private collection.

    This Ferrari 308GTS is very special. It was used for the Magnum PI Pilot. Documentation in hand.

    All repairs have been documented and have been serviced by a authorized and certified Ferrari mechanic. $7900 was paid for repairs in belts changes and updates for the vehicle. Last repair was made in April 2014. Receipt is in hand.

    Excellent condition.
    Everything is Original.
    Original Red Paint with Tan Interior.
    56K Original Miles.
    Clean FL Title. It originally came from California.
    Everything works. A/C is great
    Seats are in great condition.
    Convertible Top is in great condition.
    It has always been indoors.
    No dents or scratches.
    Runs great and drives beautifully.

    That bumper cannot be originally painted.
    And AC works great! I do not believe that.

    sofar, and thanks to crowd sourcing over the years, only the following chassis numbers have been widely confirmed and accepted as
    the cars used on the show :


    1979 - carb models: 28251, 28525 and 29109

    1981 - 2Vi model: 34567

    1982 - 2Vi model: 38527

    1982 - 2Vi models: 45579 and 45607

    1984 - QV model: 51941

    1985 - QV model: 57685

    Maybe just the pic but something looks wrong with the hood. It looks "flattened."

    So does anybody think a Magnum 308 that Tom S sat in is more valuable than a 308 that Christie Brinkley sat her sweet ass on?

    Does anyone on earth even have the first clue as to where that car is?

    Has anyone even claimed to know the chassis number?

    They used at least three different cars in the pilot. We sorted all that out just last summer.
