According to Ferrari's website (F1 Clienti - Ferrari Corse Clienti), F1 Clienti is coming to Laguna Seca on Oct 30-Nov 1, but the event doesn't show up on Laguna's calendar. Does anyone know if it's been cancelled? Where are all the US clients going to play with their toys?! :p I want to go watch!!!

This is rather common, and is a case of the venue not properly updating their calendar. The same thing happened with me and the Corse Clienti event at NOLA Raceway in New Orleans. The race is this weekend and it's only been in the past week that it has been added and advertised on their website.

Are they going to try to go for another lap record? Which F1 cars are coming?

I might want to attend but have never gone to a Corse Clienti event before. Are there tickets for spectators?

I thought the Laguna Seca event had been cancelled because of a booking error with the track, or due to the track running out of noise credits.

I'm confused as well. On both the F1 Clienti and XX Programme sections of Ferrari's website, Laguna Seca is still listed. But it is missing from the Challenge series page. This happened a year or two ago at Sonoma.

The Laguna Seca event for Halloween weekend has been cancelled since early July. It was actually "replaced" with the NOLA event last weekend.

the rationale was that with the Finali Mondiali event being rescheduled (earlier, from December) and relocated (to Mugello) on Nov 4-8th, there was NO WAY logistically to get the XX and Challenge circus from California to Mugello. The World Finals are quite a spectacle and the logistics complexity is pretty involved.

This (sort of) happened in 2013; the World Finals (at Mugello) were scheduled a week prior to the COTA F1 race, so anyone wanting to race at Mugello and COTA had to either rent a race car from a European team for Mugello, or pay $$$$ to airfreight their cars to Austin, or miss the Austin race (which was deemed non-points anyway).

Cannot explain why the websites are not updated, but this has been on the books for a few months now. Frankly, I'm still bummed as Laguna is a great track to drive - challenging to pass on - but also a great event. Hope we're back there next year, but Sonoma tends to get preference as it's "closer".
