    I am thinking of taking my FF for couple of months to an area which has really very bad roads.... roads are there but very bad and bumpy...I am driving my Porsche Turbo on these roads and it gives me a very bad back pain....will the FF be better on such roads based on your experience ? I am currently driving my FF on the most smooth roads world-wide maybe so I couldn't really tell if it will be ok to drive it on bad bumpy roads

    If the roads are that bad...might I suggesting buying a range rover. Much smoother and more ground clearance. The suspension on the FF is great. But a few months of very bumpy roads as you are describing and a porsche turbo causing back pain is not so worth it to me.

    From your post, I'd say the FF ride isn't as good as you'd need it to be for such roads.

    It's a sports car not a rally car. Its ok for a short stretch but not daily abuse on really bad roads. Also even if the car is ok ... the daily abuse will damage the shocks, possibly cause some leaks down the line and end up being a very costly repair. If you have a choice ... use an SUV.

    I'd be worried about breaking a wheel. I've broken three front right wheels on my FF from stupid potholes, along with four front right tires. The low profile tires just don't like potholes. That was all in 46,000 miles driving the FF all year over three years. The worst I'd drive my FF would be Michigan roads :D where most of the damage was done.

    The FF is going to be WAY better than the Porsche but it sounds like you need something better than both.

    After driving my FF for 6 months now, I do not want to drive any other car, yes the 911 is Extremly powerful but it's very bad for my back specially on bad roads...

    I am also in Dubai and FF + Range Rover is what I drive as well. Perfect combo.
    My wife has a GL500 that is slowly growing on me but you can't beat the Range Rover.
