Nice presentation, could I request a shot of the Dino head on, with the poster behind it?

Dang it, you are right, and upon closer look, they are not Highway Approved either.

But here it's OK, the cops can't read English...:)

    Regards, Alberto

Ah, yes. l liked Freeman's doors as well.

Mine were bought locally, Alberto. The leaves are an aluminum-foam-aluminum sandwich, Australian made.

    best,

For those Porsche companions to the Dino who might be interested, there is a new Porsche Book "The Carrera 2.7 Book" authored by one of our own Dino owners here.
Obviously a labor of love, and great access to achives, he is too reserved to mention it, so I thought I might:

Porsche Carrera 2.7 Book Update ? Rennsport Reunion V

These would have been my dino's garage mates, except that the dino is all the way in San Diego, and these boys are with me here in South East Asia...

The Maserati Bora and Ferrari Dino make a great couple in my garage.

The Dino's feminine stance, sensuous lines and nimble handling, contrasts well against the Bora's angular masculinity, brutish performance and authoritative growl.

I am not sure if it is a good companion car to our Dinos, but, like Peter Egan, writing in the current issue of Road & Track, I am an accidental Miata enthusiast. My second MXS-5. I had the original version in the 1990s.

There are several good companion cars for our Dinos. My garage walls are bare, but I do have these as wall art. They are magnesium, so I painted them to protect against corrosion. I should probably use a wrinkle finish.

    That's some trio!
I love the Bora in that color. Mine is 117/162, so they are very close in age.

Not having been able to do so in a while, I took the Italia out this morning for a spin. And then I drove the Dino. What struck me, even just standing next to the Dino and checking the oil and water, was how small the Dino was. It is minuscule compared to the Italia. That impression was reinforced once I sat inside. What a tiny cockpit!

I have to back-up out of my garage for both cars and then turn for the driveway. That was much easier in the Dino, not only because of its size but also the view to the rear, which is quite good, actually. The Dino’s steering felt heavy! I never noticed that before and only did so now probably because I drove it immediately after the Italia. But the Dino’s steering on the road was such a delight. I felt a real connection to the wheels and in more direct control. Naturally, one shifts in the Dino, flicks a very mechanical-feeling turn signal lever, and does several other things so differently than in the newer car.

The two make good companion cars. Both are still normally aspirated, but they are old versus new, classic versus very modern, analog versus digital. Each one complements the other and makes the driver appreciate both. Highly recommended.

I think my 911/997 is the one car I have that has a similar feel to my Dino... so I will say the 911..
amazingly the 911/991 has a much larger feel then the 911/997 I have one of each and actually like the 997 better ... of course they are daily drivers where as the dino is my special car....
