Here is a pic of the oil pressure gauge, took the pic after a ride, fully warm at idle, is this low?
I checked the oil last week and it seemed fine, perfectly clean too
    Thanks!!

I wouldn't panic for that at fully-warm idle if the value seems reasonable at higher RPM (per the spec in your OM). What viscosity oil are you using?

I run 20W50 and my oil pressure is like that at idle when fully warmed up. Been like that for 10 years.

Keep in mind that you can't trust your gauge for an accurate reading.

That is perfectly normal. When the engine is cold, the pressure will be higher at idle as the oil is thicker and actually not lubricating as it should. As the oil warms and thins the pressure will drop at idle. It should be just under halfway (just under 85) under normal load.

Somewhere there is a reference for the expected lbs/1000rpms but I do not have time to get it right now. That is the guide you should use when the oil is at operating temp.

    I think as a general rule, it's 10lbs for every 1000 rpm.

For years had a similar problem , the replacement of the oil pressure sender unit cured the problem. Also using 5W 40 currently.:)

If in fact your gauge is reading correctly that is still around 30lbs. That is more than enough at idle.

Also I have tested many with mechanical gauges and I remember very few that read as high as they actually were.
