Have you got CS brakes ? Seeing as how CH brakes were from the F40LM I very much doubt an "upgrade" to CCBs will improve my stopping power ............ 11psi on the other hand
I was surprised at first but the last manual I saw sold was 50 about 4 years ago. and autos for 18 at auction. with whats happening especially in the RHD market its almost to be expected.
The rework of a 365 reminds me of David Levys "yellow car". But I can guarantee no where near the work went into the Daytona as David put into this. Lot 25 - Motorclassica 2014 - Sale as0146 | Theodore Bruce Art & Antiques Auctions
it's a replica of a comp car, the nose is a reasonably accurate copy. I think it's horrible because of what it represents - destroying an unloved Ferrari to make a replica. How many manual RHD 400's are left? QLD'ers seem to like making copies of cars they can't afford. Witness the 308 "F40".
The 1st RHD car is here in Aus and can be bought for less than half that price. UK market is rapidly cooling, might be the onset of winter or it might be that over-excited buyers are harder to find.
While in general I agree, but no one cares about 400 autos. I also think it would drive a lot closer to a Comp Daytona than that 308 to a F40! Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's chassis 19149, ex Robert Gambino with lots of tarmac rally history, its career came to an end after this accident in 2014. I believe being put back together. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/143109488-post2041.html Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
This was chassis 20303, was advertised on Ferrarichat ads (the sale thread has since been deleted ) but there are other pictures in the 308 Vetro thread. 37K miles, books , tools and correct exhaust and recent Classiche Certification. The ask was 165K pounds so assuming it sold for a little less, say 155KGBP, then its still going to be more than 500K AUD landed here with LCT & GST. M
apples for apples JM, you can't compare CH to stock 360, has to be a CS or actual Challenge car. How about comparing your brakes to this? Image Unavailable, Please Login
The pre import price seems cheap...is that the REAL market? Maybe there's no LCT or GST payable depending on where it ends up...like maybe a museum?? otherwise, why would anyone pay that much?
