3 new OEM Boxer windshields with antennas available

Hi everyone. OEM Sigla windshields with the antenna imbedded in the windshield have long been NLA. The OE manufacturer who owns the rights to Sigla needed someone to pony up a sizeable order and produce a bunch of them prior to them being interested in tooling up for this particular windshield with the antenna. Apparently they are a massive PIA to manufacture and the tooling is very particular hence why they haven't been made in forever. I went ahead and had a bunch made, and I have 3 that are unspoken for.

The 'Sigla' logo is correct and the shading is correct. They are 100% concourse correct from the OE manufacturer.

These haven't been available for a very long time. I have to thank Paul for getting the ball rolling on this, but finally, they are available and will be in the US with me later this week or early next week.

How many windshields did they have to produce to get them going on it? Seems that testarossa windshields with the antenna are also hard to find.

 

I cannot disclose the number but it was a good number of them. TR windscreens with antenna I believe are more available but I am not 100% certain on that. Boxer screens seemed to have a greater needed as its my understanding you cannot remove a windscreen on these cars without causing irreparable damage; and with many of them being restored these days there is a need.

 

is the windshield from the 512 BB the same as the one from a 365 BB?
the parts number for the 512 BB is 50015304 and for the 365 BB is 500153 or/and 500154 or/and 502097

mine is saint gobain...all of my glass is labeled with s-g logo.

 

Semi on the lookout for a BB windscreen sans antenna. Any ideas?

They're available. I believe Eurospares has them from some aftermarket supplier.

 

I have some OE spec one's in the UK if needed.
