That's exactly like I had ordered a 458 Spider if I had the money! Have you some interior pictures?

Here's the blue Dino that started it all for me, in 1976! Next year I'll hit 40 years of ownership! Fred

I don't have any good interior pictures, but I can describe the spec, Adrian: beige racing seats with Alcantara inserts and Blu Scuro stitching; beige console; beige Alcantara headliner, door inserts and lower dash; Blu Scuro dash top, wheel (carbon fiber with LEDs) and carpets; carbon fiber dash and console inserts. Fred

It's hard to imagine any car today looking that sexy at 40! Wow, she is stunning.

I love mine to...thinking of an addition to my will. I want to be buried in it behind the wheel.

Stopped smoking, eating a little better, drinking a little less and not excercising enough...a work in slow progress. Thanks for the kind words.

Thank you, Neons and CT Audi Fan. My Dino is now 42 years old. For its 40th "birthday," I sent it to Algar (which sold it new) for a substantial refurbishment. Age takes its toll, and it pays to be proactive, rather than risk waiting for a flatbed at the side of the road! Fred

It was sunny with amazing blue skies. Temp 70F.

We went to lunch at Woody Creek Tavern and sat outside. Best enchiladas on the planet.

Then we drove to Ashcroft (the site of an old mining town on the other side of Aspen Mountain). My avatar is taken from there. Least amount of traffic ever on this popular road. Only passed 4 bicycles...normally it would be 10x that.

Still some gold and orange leaves on about 10% of the Aspen. Red bushes and scrub oaks were all over. The road was repaved recently and was in perfect condition.

The 458 sounded so great with the top down and handled like a dream. No rocks on the road for a change either.

Most of the time 50-60 mph but there is one stretch where over 100 is easy with great visibilty and no traffic.

If there is a car more fun to drive than the 458 Spider all l can say is...bring it on.

Fantastic day! My wife even raved about how much fun we had.

Red exterior, red interior, and red calipers, very cool! That is not stock ride height, is it? I love the 'stance' it has.

Black top really accents the car nicely.
