    Frankly though I like the overall design of the F12 the black strip lookss cheesy and Lexus like. It makes th entire rear treatment more boring and ordinary than the base F12.

    No stripes for this car. It will just make it too crowded. A light color, such as silver metallic or even white would be the best choice for its lines, IMO

    For my eye there is already enough going on with all the CF detailing and a stripe is simply a step too far. More importantly, where did you find the configurator?

    I agree with the sentiment that on this special series car racing or historical livery is a step too far.
    I cannot comment on where the original poster got the pictures from, however a set exactly like that posted can be seen in a document titled Programma di Personalizzazione for the F12tdf where some special options are illustrated.

    I think this car looks great. Only thing to change is the carbon piece on the fender should be the same as the body color.

    I believe the comparisons to the 250 TdF are a bit off.
    I know this is the moniker that Ferrari has applied, but in my mind it it purely a 275 GTB
    evolution!

    Of course, I am not one who will actually be taking delivery, but if I were, the 275 Competizione Speciale would be my inspiration!
    Look at these two together! The tail lights, filler cap, quarter vents.
    This is a "new" 275, not 250 IMHO!

    That rear is dubious compared to a stock f12. The 599 gto is better than the gtb from EVERY angle at multiples. I would say that stock f12 rear is sexier. But a full set of high res photos will show it better.

    I'm probably in the minority but I prefer the looks of the regular F12, that might change.

    I do like the performance of the TDF, however I don't drive good enough to get the best out of it.

    Still a great car!!


    Stripe is way to much on it as well
