Yup the one and only wife, 21 years and counting. She has hated all my cars and motorcycles, couldn't ruin the tradition by keeping one she actually liked
I still remember that FNR for Tassie where Veena and Leonie were going to use the QV and you and I were going in the F50, what a missed opportunity Veena would have loved that car as well being so similar to the 328
The missed opportunity with the F50 was not waiting another few years before I sold it  I think the reason she liked the 328 was that it was so easy for her to drive and very usable compared to the others I had owned.
She might have liked it for that fleeting moment in time. The rest of the time I owned it she viewed it as a great pile of money sitting there doing nothing. In the end, that was the exact reason I sold it.
I have great difficulty distinguishing Blu Sera and blue Chiaro in photos........that colour also looked fantastic on the 308 GTB QV in the factory brochure as well......its my fav colour for a QV car. Ditto for the 328
Its amusing how many people think I dis-like him, which I don't. I see our "discussions" as banter.................obviously somewhere along the line, I must've offended him b/c I couldn't understand why he would be so duplicitous..........but on reflection with some of the discussions had with him, I shouldn't be surprised. It takes all kinds to make a world.......is he the Cartman of the f-chat world?
You know, sometimes I wonder.......but I got enough to buy a 348? Wouldn't mind a black or white one......
If I was a wiser man (or less of an idiot), I should've bought the Blue Sera/Blue Chiaro 308 GTBQV that Phil's dad was selling a few months prior to my ex-308. I thought about it too much, missed the deal and a few months later, pulled the trigger on Grigio. But that's could've, would've, should've...too negative. So no real regrets. Very very beautiful car Jon.
Small world kinda stuff isn't it? Lovely colour combo, is that colour steering wheel original to the car?
Can't win em all boss...............unless your name is Greg Malakason. That's great to hear, so you picked up at least $200K for your QV. Black or white?? Good for you on picking two 348 colours that are as rare as PP using his manners. Oh, I see.
I love the way the owner is proud to feature the cam belt service in 1999... says a lot about deferred maintenance issues, doesn't it? Note to prospective buyers: $15K for a full engine-out service plus $40K for an uprated diff carrier, before you drive the car anywhere!
2001 Ferrari 360 Modena F1 Auto 2001 Ferrari 360 Spider F1 Auto both owners claim their cars have 19" Challenge wheels which is incorrect: they are aftermarket BBS wheels that look similar to 19" CS wheels, the main difference being real CS wheels don't have "Motorsport" written on them. Aftermarket wheels can be had for ~$2k, real ones are at least $4k USD + shipping. Actual 360 Challenge wheels, of course, are 18" magnesium wheels not certified for road use in Australia. It's hard to believe the owners have know eye deer about the fact their cars have fake CS wheels - deliberate misrepresentation? What else is not correct with these cars? Buyer beware?
$40K? Really? I could have one hand machined out of billet for less than that! Is that a factory part?
People are idiots and buyers should always do their own due diligence before purchasing anything, especially a Ferrari.
That ship is coming back and prices are already softening, 360s will be the first to tank. 575s are collector class now, only 200 odd RHD cars
800 RHD 360 Spiders made, even less in manual. Try finding a decent manual 360 spider on pistonheads for less than 80k pounds, you'll see what I mean
