Lol, he was definitely shifty then wasn't he? But seriously, that blue steering wheel was rank. Holy crap!! That car looks sooooooooooooooooooooooo awesome!!!! +3,000,000 Awesome car, not too sure if I would pay $3M for it even if I had the cash. But it does look amazing and I enjoy watching this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D8JRTMofbTE
Speaking of Countach video's, I'm so surprised with all the junk on Youtube, nobody has ever uploaded a video of the mid 80's Gillette commercial with the silver Countach driving through a misty mountain road..........now that was an amazing and iconic video in my day.....................................or the Sterling cigarettes commercial I used to see in the cinema before the movie would come on with a silver 308 GTS carbie car racing through a mountainous road.

Gerry D's old car. It's a good "driver" but by no means perfect. It was however delivered with a factory high performance engine and 250GTO diff. It's surprisingly quick. Notice how people who bought F-cars to speculate are now getting out of them? I suspect there is recognition that the party is over. The sad thing is that these owners haven't enjoyed them as cars, they were just a profit opportunity.
Gerry D has owned some nice cars. Interesting in regards to the high performance engine and 250 GTO diff. Is the diff ratio shorter or longer in the 250 GTO? Or do you mean it has a long diff ratio which gives it great top speed? And yes, there would have been plenty out there whom bought these cars purely to make a profit. It's a shame as I am sure they would enjoyed the ownership experience.
Yes, for sure. But I am sure there had to be one specific ratio when they were ordered from new and they were changed after that. All the ones left in the world are probably all running different diff ratios in them.
The GTO diff was a very sophisticated LSD, superior traction compared to most performance cars in the 60's. 330 had a choice of ratios, this particular car is quick to 100mph but still quite relaxed thanks to the overdrive.
A fairly decent ask on this one 1998 Ferrari F355 GTS F1 Manual Cars For Sale in VIC - CarPoint Australia I guess it is the rarest and best of the 355s...
And you're going to need them when you come down here. I'm finally doing a full-on track day at Mallala next week complete with some proper driver training. When you add in my much faster gear shifts - compared to any semi-competent driver - you're in more trouble than the early settlers...
