1976 1/2 is certainly not a correct term. I mentioned the homologation cars in general aka all 274 of my 75 and the first 126 of my 76.

Here are my kits that I may never finish.. I have too many projects between my 930, 1895 Victorian house and endless other projects. These are quite big at 1/12.

Jose – looking great. Can’t wait to see your white leather interior with sport seats.

Very nice...every 930 owner should have the Tamiya 1/12 scale 934 and 935 kits. The motorized RC versions have gone up in value even more than the display kits.

    Hello to all,
New at this.. Just bought a 1977 930 ROW with a strange outside color. Have looked it up extensevely online but can not find any reference to that color code. 30D??? Very very curious if somebody had an idea what this could be... Car is painted in a beatiful dark metallic blue. Have no idea if this is original.. Help appreciated. Thank you

I am planning to use in the near future leatherique ( the pair ).

Is there any other leather product that can be " stronger " than leatherique ?

I use leatherique to the rest of my cars buy none is in this condition !!

Curiously, according to this invoice, this 1977 US Turbo Carrera shows that there was a charge for the cars sunroof. I was under the assumption that all US Turbo Carrera's from 1976 & 1977 came stock and the the sunroof was included without an up-charge. Can anyone shed any light?

Sunroof was always an option (U.S. or RoW) until the end of 930 production in 1988/1989 when it became standard.

Question for 930 community- I own 9306800094 and am currently having it restored. The car has a 76 930/50 engine case in it which is obviously not the matching motor. I have found for sale a correct low serial 930/51 case for sale- not cheap also non-matching does any one think switching a 930/50 case for a 930/51 would alter value in any appreciable way. I have my own opinion I'm curious what others think.
    Thanks,

    Phil

    Phil,

To me, there would be no appreciable difference in my opinion and I would not spend the money. Enjoy it as you have it.

    Best,

    Chris

    Chris,

You and I think alike- so either we are both smart or deranged nut cases - it's probably a 50/50 shot either way
