    I didn't take many photos this year, and only used my phone at that, so I don't have much to contribute. I'm sure some of you, however, got some good shots worth sharing.

    Here's what the pit lane, main straightaway, and main grandstands looked like Sunday morning at 8:45.

    Thanks to an Fchatter, I had a set of tickets to Thursday's Pit Walk......

    We drove up early with the mandatory Pit Stop in Ellinger, Texas for smoked Bar B Que at Peter's.
    That's the name....Peter's.

    I think they have two billboards.
    A Shell Station next door had the Promo Pack signage out, I asked the Manager, if I could steal it, on my way back to Houston on Sunday night.

    He said: "Sure!!"

    What a great idea! I saw several signs on the way out of Austin -- I should have stopped and asked to take them. (Brilliant!) I guess that's why you have 64 thousand more posts than I have...

    I actually tracked them down, last year, to the Shell Fuel distributor for the Austin area.
    That took a few phone calls, and a trip out to Burleson Road, not far from the Track, and also Moorespeed.

    I also contacted a few local stations on South Congress, but left my laconic friend in charge of that. By the time he woke up the next morning had coffee went out for breakfast, and finally went to work, they were in the dumpster!

    So this time I went the other way, on the supply chain.
    The little ones, on top of the fuel pump, makes a great desk blotter.
    That's my "prize" in the office today.

    Did you get one of the F1 Magazine 'Specials'??
    They were in the Statesman, starting last Wednesday.

    Likewise he said "I got you one"....but I said "I need about TEN, for all my friends!"

    I think I have four or five.....

    Certainly looks like it...a desktop with no icons...

    I have a great shot of the McLaren computers turned on.
    Ferrari's were closed over on Thursday...
