Stripes are a tricky one - my last car a 2012 458 spider was also titanio with cuoio interior and plain with no external embellishments (I think it's in Melbourne now). This time I went with stripes as I wanted something different plus they seem to be on a lot of the more track oriented cars like the Scuderia etc. The other thing which it turns out is the subject of debate on the Aperta is that most don't have the stripe on the strip above the windshield. Mine does as to me it maintains the continuity of the stripe. Lots of other owners don't want it as they think it looks a bit weird to have the stripe there when the top is down. Just great to be able to spec what you want and play with the various configurations.

You are a lucky man. Do whatever you want, it's an awesome car, and that is a lovely colour.
There's a 458 Spider here in that colour, and it's the nicest one I've seen in the flesh.

That was probably mine - Frank from Zagame was telling me it is now in Melbourne - titanio with cuoio learher and carbon fiber racing package. Titanio shows the lines well although now there are a couple of new reds which are stunning.

Personally, I think the titanium / blue combo is fabulous.

I also worked with Anna to spec my car - the other good thing about the process is that aside from looking at all the swatches and colour panels etc. I probably spent at least 2 hours on the production line and other parts of the factory being shown how different combos work in actual cars and to get other ideas. A unique process that is becoming more difficult to do as more buyers realise it's such a great way to buy your Ferrari. The other alternative is Tailor Made and then the $$$$$$$ really do start to fly!!

The other cool thing Ferrari have started doing again is giving you 3 progress photos of your car in its build process. I think the first one is a generic one but the others are correct.

Those ads, especially the 550 ad are about 100 years old. You won't get into a 550 for under $250k

As Greg246 mentioned those ads are very old and those cars sold more than 1 year ago. They have been unable to update their website for some time.

So is everyone else, the add is very old and as others have said the cars sold as far back as March 2014, the web site hasn't been updated.
Every classic dealer in the country has chased the add to no avail.

No signs of a market correction, those ads serve to illustrate how much the market has moved since early 2014.
And the recent 246 Dino sale at Motorclassicca was at 542K including fees, which is a very strong price for that car.
The majority of in demand cars are currently changing hands through connections - either the owner is made an offer they can't refuse, or the first dealer/broker they speak to simply buys the car (and already has several potential buyers lined up)

I think when there are 150+ Ferrari's on Carsales again ( including a range of pre 1980 cars) that will be an indication that a correction has taken place.
