Looking for a honest value of my 355. 6 speed manual What I mean is a price it would actually sell for. I'm not looking for a broom it real quick price either.
    vin# zffxr48a8v0107072 ODO 45,000
carfax shows minor accident, doesn't need belt service for 2 years or aprox 20,000 miles. I wont do it just to sell it that's just wasting money
Seat bolster shows some wear, top is in excellent condition and worked perfectly until converted to manual.
body and interior show normal wear I would give both 8 out of 10.
challenge grill, interior parts not sticky...I do think the ashtray and rear deck release may become sticky but rest are restored, will get spoiler fixed and painted before sale..you can see the scrape mark in photo...paint looks great though

this car runs amazing. Doesn't burn oil gauges are always in the good and consistent.
Everything works on this car...every knob button and function works as it should.
has Ricambi after market headers no sticky parts leather on dash is pulling a little tight in one corner but I am oiling it so it has stopped and still looks fine. If I keep it will remove dash and stretch it back out. Newer tires on back..front is fine
Tubi, Hyperflow cats rebuilt this year
clutch is great, throw out bearing rattles a little when cold but is ok.

will do all fluid flushes and change oil before sale..
Brakes are fine but I have a complete set of pads and rotors that I can have installed if buyer wants

this car never ceases to amaze me when I drive it The engine runs perfect shifts smooth I have no issues with this car
I really want to hear some solid numbers. thanks in advance

Hate to say it, but having recently sold one I'd peg it at $40-45 given mileage, accident history (doesn't matter to most how minor) and color. It's also not clear when the last belt service was done. Are you saying 2 years on a 3 year schedule? 5 year? 7 year?

What's wrong with color? Rossa over tan is the most desirable color for these cars

It's hard too think about it. But we're having a new house built and downsizing because of me retiring. If I do decide to I will contact you first. No need to have it shipped I will drive it up there. It would be a great trip

Meh. Mileage is no big deal. I would much prefer a car that has been driven some than some garage queen. Same for airplanes. 20 hour / yr aircraft are full of repairs needs.

    Color is fine....

Accident history hurts. But hey, the owner can drive this one without wringing their hands about some unrealistic appreciation plan. If the market goes "Dino" some day, then accident history is a non event anyway.

Post the actual recent engine out service details & date please.

    Ask, $62,000 Sell, $52 - 55k. ???

Resale red is rosso or rosso corsa. Yours (in the photo above) looks like rosso rubino or maybe rosso barchetta. While both of these are very nice (and I prefer) they are not what the masses desire (top price = resale red).

I wasn't trying to criticize the car. I just think miles, accident, and maroon color don't help when buyers are comparing cars to purchase. It's a funny market.

Agreed. I think the car is Rosso Corsa. But not sure now....

Yes, it is a funny market, and that's for clear title cars. Stir in a salvage title and all heck breaks out. Documentation of repairs, service and driving details win the day in these situations. Not sure the seller has any of that.

If not, this is a $40,000 / $45,000 car at best with a limited buyer pool.

I've seen it and it's a rosso corsa car with tan interior. There was some cloud cover earlier and that is I suspect why the color looks muted.

I was curious, if the top worked perfectly why convert it to manual ?
Easier to just ask, major service was done on what date, mileage at the time and who did it ?

It is Rossa corsa. It doesn't have a salvage title. Minor accident is all

some of the parts are very expensive and hard to find.....I did it so I could enjoy the top down no worry then if the next wants to change it back he can...If something does go wrong with these over engineered dysfunctional tops I would have to fix it before I sold it and I wouldnt get my money back out just because the top works like it should

Our '87 930 has been converted to manual operation, if and when the right 355 comes along I will probably do the same. The business with the seats, beep, ... Manual just seems to make sense.
