    I'm sure everyone will agree how cool it is to pick up YOUR own Ferrari whether it is your first or 15th.

    Let's see photos of your car when you arrived to pick it up or when it arrived at your doorstop...

    For me, this was it - she looks a bit different today after I got to work on her.

    My first encounter was at night at a Porsche dealership. Just me, the car and the manager... He picked me up at the airport and stayed late to get all the paperwork done. Not many other cooler car moments - short of a barn find.

    And our challenge car. I really enjoyed the whole experience with Nick at Lake Forest Sportscars outside of Chicago. Just walking through their shop to get to the F355 was a great adventure in itself.

    I flew to Houston for a PPI but was unable to coordinate the transporter to pickup on the same day I was in town. Sooooo.....I had to leave it in its storage garage after the purchase, that was the worst for me to spend a few hours with her and then suffer thru the next week of near withdrawal.

    Thinking back, it was the first time I had seen a 355 in person. And it was mine.

    Thanks for bringing bavk those memories Robb.

    Picking my 1995 GTS up after a 300km journey with a good friend. First time I had laid eyes on her. No PPI, no test drive, handed over the cheque and drove her home. Magic.

    Transported across the country. Arrived at Sweetgrass MT border crossing. Here are pics as it was unloaded from the truck.

    The drive from the border up to Calgary was quite interesting. My dad was driving the 348 as we left the border after completing the import process. He got pulled over as "there were numerous complaints that a loud Ferrari was being driven in an over zealous manner". This happened literally 30 minutes after clearing the border. Hilarious. No warning or anything given, free to go on our way.
