    About 18 months ago the local dealer cracked the windshield on my 355 while it was in for service. The upside was that I got a new windshield out of it. Since that time I had not noticed any issues with the install until about a month ago on a long and somewhat spirited drive.

    While on the freeway at speeds in excess of the posted California limit, I notices what appears to me a lot of wind noise from the right front area of the passenger compartment. I could not feel any air rushing in between the top of the windshield frame and the convertible top nor could I feel anything coming in around the side windows but yet I have a lot of wind noise.

    Anyone else have this with their spiders or should they be fairly quiet at speed? I wondering if the windshield wasn't sealed properly and I am getting some air turbulence from that.

    It isn't just a spider thing... I replaced a cracked windshield in my GTS and noticed increased wind noise after the fact just like yours.

    Take it back and have the installer fix it. Mine was able to run a bead (black silicone) around the glass-side edge of the metal trim to better seal the install. You can't see it afterward as it just needs to be inside/under the small gap in the metal trim and the glass/gasket, but as soon as he did it my wind noise was totally gone.

    yup happens all the time
    Range Rovers are famous for the same issue

    My 97 has a lot of wind noise when you get cruising closer to the triple didgets but it has been like that since I got it so I just figured it was a spider thing.
