Same goes with belt service lets say my car is worth 55k I get a belt service for 6k. value of the car? 55k after a belt service it doesnt need...waste of money. It might be easier to sell because it was just serviced because people are worried that the car will implode any minute or its to close to a 20k service. People just dont understand how forgiving these cars are....hell I got caught in a rainstorm once it didnt melt and started right up the next day
When I bought mine the top only worked with the "emergency" button. Got it all sorted for $1500-2000 but at that point was ready to convert it. Parts are definitely spendy. Top still works so keeping fingers crossed, if it breaks again going manual.
Ok just looks Ike I was a little off on service date. It was serviced at Forign Auto in Pennsylvania aug 2011. 37000 on the clock. Now it has just over 46k on it.
The insurance adjuster wanted to total it .....I said at least let me see if I can wipe the water off with a towel first
Randy, I'm sorry if I made your heart pound. I was just trying to be humorous about you allowing the car to get wet.
