Untill now the oldest ESPADA S1 known was #7021 belonging to one of our LCB members. Now, there is an older one #7018 which was residing in France in Lille area. It disappeared from its garage.... anybody who can provide a link to where it is by now will receive a reward ! ! ! Image Unavailable, Please Login

This is new to me, as untill now in VLG and others forums #7021 was the current reference of nowadays... as recently this year about #7018... do you know where it is and do you have pics or is it just a very old information which is not valid by nowadays ?
I checked my register. I meant the 5th car. This should be than #7012. It´s currently red and in Germany and was previously in Spain. Regards, Leo
Lamborghini Espada Serie 1 The photos are ... oh let's just same you can't see much in the way of quality details. Those very early cars are interesting with some of the items that didn't stick around for very long. I wonder why the front quarter vents disappeared?
I think we discussed this car already once, I guess a error in the registry since this Information Shows the same reg plate as in the registry: Originally Argento Met./Nero on 26 Nov 1970 to G.G. Nations, Geneva, Switzerland. London, GB registered ZT 4140. 1971 Lamborghini Espada series II GTE Espada for sale: Anamera
Today I received a "brief report" from a fellow visiting the fair in Padova. Among other amazing price tags, a Ser. II Espada was offered for 195k€. And he described it as "not better than condition 3, if at all". In the meanwhile even price guides in German classic car magazines list Espadas of all series in condition 2 over 200 k€. The price guides here typically indicate rather (too) low prices.
I'm at Padova for 2 days, some Espada : 4x S3 et 1x S2, all in area of 200k excepted one for at 288k with not original paint even if claimed by seller it is...
I like historic photos ... This one is actually about shoes, not cars ... Anyone guess from which year the Espada is? A quite easy guess, I suppose ... Perhaps someone knows about the nowadays whereabouts, the car, not the girls ? P.S.: Quite funny, you see 6 feet and 7 shoes ... Image Unavailable, Please Login
At what stage in Series II production did they change the wheels from the older Miura style to the newer ones?
I do not know exactly, but I believe in 1971 (end). It would be interesting to know whether the wheel change was at the same time or after the change in interior design (the clock moving from the center console dash to the main dash, the levers for air circulation moving from immediately right of the steering column to the place, where the clock previously was). I believe that it was later.
Engine details (cams etc.), steering wheel, discontinuence of the vertical stabs at the vertical rear window, other location of the lower end of the rear telescopic support arms, other seats and interior trim, to beginn with. I am sure others might list a lot more additional differences.
Once you spot the vent window it's pretty easy. I'm not sure why they eliminated that. The rear vertical bars is really easy to understand. Bob Huber's version is really cool though with the snap release feature. As for the date ... they'd be older than me at this point! Probably more in need of a frame off than the Espada!
Tons of differences. The S1 is "cool" in a number of ways like the dash but the S2 is the better car and then the S3 is improved again. I like the appearance of the S2 with spinners and it's ventilated rotors is one of the improvements. I'd also like power steering but the hydraulic version adds a lot of stuff to the engine compartment. The lectric kits available now are pretty cool and take up very little room. The S1 has an "interesting" AC and ventilation system. Look in the parts books @ Eurospares. None of them have decent AC but I guess the S3's system is the best? The center console on the S1 is just so comfortable for laying you arm on whilst not shifting. It fit me perfectly. That car also had the much better interior rear view mirror. Those are a few ...
