Did you go with any exterior stripe package and which color for the wheels?
Chad had silver over red for his 599 GTO and that was a rare combination to...

I think that spoke pattern is probably the lightest one for this car.

They've taken the Scud wheel and spread out the 5-pair pattern till it's almost a 10-spoke pattern but you can still make out the 5-pairs and that's really nice. I suspect spreading the spokes out more evenly allows them to use thinner spokes. They probably picked it for performance and I think it looks nice. To make this car meaningfully faster it makes sense to use the lightest wheels.

I only did the small black stripes like on the press car, which are standard. I did the same wheels as the press car, silver, I liked them. I debated doing black because I think they look awesome on my red Speciale, but in the end I couldn't decide if I would like them as much with a silver car

Silver is a great paint color; especially when there is a lot going on to see with the design details for the tdF. It's hard to improve on what Ferrari conceives for their press cars. One of the Canadian buyers got a silver F12 this fall and said the paint was spectacular.
Thanks for sharing your personal tdF specification choices.

Take a look at the wheels of the FXX-K and you will See that they are the basis of the tdf wheel design!

I raised that point at the atelier and they said that mirrors in CF is not available for the F12tdf, even as an extracampionario option. They mentionned an homogation problem which sounded weird to me.

The standard mirrors come with lower half in glossy black (which isn't found anywhere else on the car). I personally took the mirrors in the body color...

CF not available - can be optioned in body colour otherwise painted in Nero Daytona. I elected to keep mine in ND to match the matt black wheels etc. Also my TDF order is now on My Ferrari with all the specs etc. Just waiting on actual production slot.

Love the performance. I am struggling with the aesthetics compared to the original F12.

It just shows how individual our own eyes and sense of taste are. I just don't understand how anyone can see anything but the most wonderful evolution of the front engined V12. It may not have the purity of the original design but then this evolution had to go extreme as they were already starting with an aggressive shape, and to my eye, having had my doubts before I saw it in the flesh, this is a different but very clever and aerodynamically efficient development.

The GT becomes a sports car in both performance and aesthetics. To me, they nailed it.

The 430 apparently looked like a Corvette, the 599 looked like a Corvette... In reality, it looks nothing like a Corvette.. including the tdf. The dimension, proportions, line, curves looks nothing like a Corvette.

No mistaking 430 with mid engined proportions for vette

But 599 and c6 were twins.

f12 and c7, not so much. But tdf and z06 were separated at birth

Agreed. The only similarities are general front engine sport car proportions. There are literally zero similarities in any detail.
