Thank you very much for posting the picture. It confirms that my decision was the right one. If you are at some point able to post the front end with the silver mesh I really would appreciate that.

Thank you both. I don't usually like yellow on cars but I think it looks fantastic!

How about Nero Setoso? It seems to have a bit of silver halo to the color in direct light. Maybe this will compliment the silver mesh? I was always mad at myself for passing on this GTO in this color!

Definitely. This looks like it's going to be a great car.

Thus far I've not seen a tdf with the livery stripe and as of today that's my plan for the new car. The car looks amazing without the stripe so I'm struggling with my decision. I'm not a fan of the bonnet livery but I recognize the relevance of it historically speaking.

If I go with Grigio Ferro Metallic, I'd likely use a Nero Stellato stripe OR the TDF or even perhaps the Blue NART stripe. I know for sure that I'll use a charcoal grey Alcantara interior BUT either of the blue stripes allow me an opportunity to introduce another color (blue) in creating a two-tone interior which the tdf lends itself to very nicely.

I understand that colors are VERY personal and there is no obvious right answer BUT I'd really like to solicit the opinions of my fellow Fchatter's on this topic.

At a minimum, and if I ultimately elect to use the livery stripe on the tdf, I think less contrast in the stripe color the better.

Thoughts and comments would be greatly appreciated! :)

Take a look at these colors...he reports it as charcoal grey and has a unique blue accent.

I do not consider myself to have a "designer's eye" by any means...but if Ferro has a light rusty hue to it, would you think some bordeaux colors might complement well?

Is there such a thing as a reddish racing stripe?

I get the whole historical thing, but it is your car...and someday it will be "historical" for someone else. So I think you have full freedom to explore whatever color schemes suit your taste.

Folks, can someone edit a TDF picture with the black parts on the aero bridges in Body Color ... to see how it would look... and the rear stripe as well

I really want to see how it will look.

    Thanks

Ferro has a green hue to it, at least the Ferro used on my 599 GTO.
