    Just trying to punish the US?

    What about all the Antonov and other Aeroflot planes that are not allowed in EUR and US airspace at all.

    I've saw an Antonov at Pisa airport a couple of years ago.. so must be allowed in EUR?

    Just as well there were clear fields and gentle upsloping valley to the south where it was headed..

    I know 737s had a rudder issue once, but this is the first I've ever heard of anything to do with elevators. Considering the type has been in service for some 40 years, I think this is all a bunch of Russian hot air.

    Correct, Jim. There isn't and never has been a problem with the elevators on the 737. Rudder powered control unit, yes, but never an elevator problem. Same old Russian crap.
