Anybody who knows a source for the conical washer which sits on one side of the cv joints? One of mine seems to be missing. :(

The entire thing is made by Lobro. That part is not sold by Ferrari, I'd try some Porsche suppliers.

Sorry, but wrong part. Its a conical washer which sits on the shaft, pressing the cv against the outside clip. Even asked them for a possible source, but no help.

If it is the washer that applies a little pressure between the half axle and cv joint you need Porsche part # 901.332.312.00
    I got mine from Pelican

    good luck!

The same misinformation is given on the 355 CV boot. After ordering 8 Porsche 930 CV boots and they don't fit, I just bought the right ones for Ferrari.

In my experience it is not misinformation and the 930 CV boots do indeed fit on the 308. I ordered them from my local Porsche parts guru (I asked for 901-332-293-12 and told him it was for a 308/930). They looked like they wouldn't fit but I was told they're equally as tight on the 930. With a little stretching they fit nicely.

I think the trick was to put the big end on first by putting your fingers through the small end and stretching the big end out so it will fit.

Made by the same guys... and yes, they are tight! More so than they were 5 years ago. If you get the Porsche year wrong you'll get an extra flange that you can't use; just toss it. Where you can really save is with the cv joints themselves - compare what Pelican wants and what your local Ferrari dealer wants for the exact same thing/ maker. That being said, I bought my last set of boots from an independant Ferrari mechanic in New England and I think they were less than when I bought Porsche boots from Pelican.
