    Anadol A8-1.6 (left). Swedish Volvo designers helped Turkish design group. May be they should not involved!!!... Because a just a little time before this A8-1.6 Turkish engineers created Anadol STC, first and last Turkish sport coupe car produced,which was nice and quite rare (so valuable now).

    The more I look at that car, the more I like it. It's so ugly, it becomes cool by default. I could rock that sled..no problem. But I would make damn sure she puffed the blues from every stop light.

    I knew a guy who bought one of these and really like it. It drove about the same as the Maserati 4200 coupe but with a normal gearbox.Ford V8 of course and a lot of Visteon equipment as well. Far less room inside of course but it was pretty well made.

    Lookup Kjell Qvale he was a very interesting guy who play a prominent role in British as well as Italian car importation to the USA. I bought a couple of cars from their dealership in SF.

    I went ahead and read a little about Qvale and came out with a great deal of respect. Very interesting to learn about his ambitions and part in importing cars as well as supporting US racing history. Even got the pronunciation wrong (Kah vah lee).

    That car was the new Mangusta at the time but DeTomaso and he parted company, once again before the car went into production.
