First batch all gone so I have no blanks left at the moment. The second batch will arrive in 3 weeks and hopefully no delay, then I'll announce it here and create a proper ad post. I'll add both of you on the list for now
No worry Mark, you will get it as promised A list was created with everyone's name and request detailed in it.
I just got both keys made for the door and ignition from my local locksmith for my 83 308 for $20 and they both work just fine.
Actually there are many keys that will work as long as the blade pattern is correct. It's whether you want your daily use key looks like an original or not. I believe most owners want to use the original ones, but they are just too precious and too costly to be replaced if lost/damaged/worn. Many prefer the original look daily key and obviously many just do not care. So for a similar price, which one you prefer?
Steven you have me convinced, ill take two! and I would pay top dollar for this one Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks, added you to the list! BTW, that door key is not for 308 I believe. 308 door key has the markings TORINO/S.A.F.E., which is a plated brass key.
Don't want to turn this thread into a real ad thread yet, so I keep the price private. This price will stay until I let someone else do it for me. That's why I put it in 308/328 section to benefit the fellowship here first. Read my reply to Ed just earlier, you'll figure out the answer
Thanks for adding me to the list, just let me know what i need to do? And yes brass, I know what because its so warn down i was afraid to use it, thus the backup.
I'll PM you. The original door keys are still available from some sources, not as costly as the Neiman, around $150. They pop up on eBay too.
Please add me to the list for two blanks please and let me know when where to make payment. Cheers Jon
Steven, many thanks. My blank arrived and look fantastic! Top work. I look forward to seeing the final version. Regards, Ben
Many thanks! Ben, the good copy you got is the final version. To keep the cost low, that's the best I can do at the moment. More comparison pictures of original/older repro/this repro: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
