Anyone see this? Ferrari F355 GTB Was that colour offered on the 355 originally? Missing original keys and the driver seat looks pretty worn considering the mileage.
Yes. That's one of very few CdF cars. I absolutely love it personally... If it's the car I'm thinking it is, it was involved in a roll over several years ago. It should be evident by looking at the carfax.
My understanding is the color is a legendary color dating back to the 1950s that went out of production; and the color was brought back during the F430 years.
Nope. Their are 12 known factory CdF f355s. Another owned by FChat user Dr. Witner was repainted CdF by Bradan.
I've seen that car in person. It was definitely an out-of-range color... Not offered as regular equipment.
There are a bunch of 355s in CdF, several from '95... I remember fiending over a 95 CdF/Tobacco one a long time ago. Definitely a factory available color at the time. For what it's worth, this is listed as the color options for 1995..http://www.***********.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=143561&stc=1&d=1419199194 I think the owner is a user here though so he might be able to confirm with a shot of the paint code sticker under the rear deck lid. Edit: looks like the URL got replaced for the other F site.
Heres a 95 I recently saw in Ohio at a service shop. I think it's the same color. 9k car, it wasn't currently for sale. Love the red interior. Image Unavailable, Please Login
There are a few around. I have a 1998 Berlinetta with CdF / Tobacco and I know of a Spider also in the SF Bay Area. Would be interesting to know how rare they really are.
Here is the CDF in Sacramento. A pity. https://www.partmyride.com/part/459326/Caliper-for-1997-Ferrari-F355
1995 GTB sold at Mecum for $60k. 1999 F1 Spider, bid goes on at $60k. A gated 1999 GTB coming up later today. Black/Tan.
Why post this information without giving a complete picture? That data is useless without mileage, condition, and color.
It's not hard. But who wants to go researching another web site when the conversation is here? Probably less inconvenient to just post the relevant info than to ask others to go out and verify incomplete statistics.
Agreed. Plus eventually mecum will remove the historical sales and then there's no records left. Also, I can't seem to find them on mecum? I have to create an account?
Here's the 95. Looks enthusiast owned. Modified tastefully overall. https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/AN1115-235248/0/1995-Ferrari-F355-Berlinetta/6-Speed/ No mileage report though. I'd say $60k was well bought/sold.
Here's the 99: https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/AN1115-233742/0/1999-Ferrari-355/6-Speed/ Seats look pretty beat up for 22k miles IMO. It's the same car they were asking $120k for: http://classiccarslist.com/ferrari/93856-1999-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-exceptional-condition-serviced-oneownersince2001.html
I'm not sure this one actually sold. No sold icon at the top like the other. The spider had a bid for $60k but not sold, "bid goes on" https://www.mecum.com/lot-detail/AN1115-226119/0/1999-Ferrari-355-Spider-F1/Automatic/
