Need help from F-Chatters for a visit in NY

Presumably in the city?

Times Square, Central Park, MMOA, 9/11 Memoral, etc. Get some real NYC pizza (try DiFara's), but you almost can't miss anywhere you go. If you aren't in long, I'd skip the Statue of Liberty, but if you have the time - do it.

Great city, you will love it no matter what you do.

By museum do you mean an automotive museum? Not sure there's anything automotive to enjoy in Manhattan. The Ferrari dealer on Park Ave is very small though they do have a Ferrari Store within it.

I don't believe there are any auto museums/collections in NYC. Was mentioned the Ferrari dealer on Park Ave. FNA is just across the GWB in Englewood Cliffs, NJ. I don't know how much there is to see there, but they have a large display area and sometimes they have some interesting cars in the window.

If you want to look at some cars across makes, you can always drop in to Manhattan Motorcars. They have quite the pre owned floor upstairs...

There are some car clubs in the city too for rentals of exotics.

Doubt this'll be much use to you as you're gonna be in NY next week, but there's the RM Sotheby's "Driven by Disruption" classic car exhibition and auction from the 5th till the 10th of December.

 

your smart phone is your best friend in any large city, enable the GPS...

ask for suggestions nearest to you, compare with your list, it will help organize with routing or find good alternate... many popular restaurants can have long waits or prefer reservations... it eliminates long cross town treks, especially when a suggested location is literally around the corner

Tomorrow (Weds, 11/18) there will also be a classic car symposium led by Keith Martin at the Keno Brothers auction site running from 4-6 pm. Previews of the auction lots also run until 9 pm tomorrow.
