Oh no he wouldn't, Frankie went down after a 2 fight losing streak @ 155 and then lost again @ 145 in his debut.

That being said, I'd love to see him fight Connor! I'm a big Edgar fan.

Yes, going up is an option, but there is no weight class in the UFC above Rousey's. I bet if there was an actual weight class above hers with a belt on the line, it would be a different story. In this particular situation, I do not blame Rousey for standing her ground. But I know you will never agree on this..... :D

    I won't:(

But it's ok ,I like hearing other opinions. Bottom line is they NEED to fight just like Mayweather vs Pac. It just has to happen!!!

It's a crummy fight, but do you think she picks them? Surely Dana has a role, no?

No one - NO ONE - wants to see Rousey-Tate 3...I know I'm not interested. Long night for Holly Holm methinks.

Not to change topic, on the subject of Dana - the guy is irritating me these days. The Reebok deal was a mess, and now the elevation of Rousey magnifies the disparity between women fighters pay and men. I'm not a women's libber, and I get that not many women would be main event caliber, but Rousey's popularity is both a blessing and a curse.

Rousey's fights are nothing I look forward to. It's pretty much the same thing every time. They are boring.

If Holm can somehow find a way to keep it on the feet and keep the distance, she would pick Rousey apart. Her standup is light years ahead of Rousey. Sadly, the chances of that happening are slim.

Rousey would need to lose for me to have any interest in that division. I'd love to see Joanna Jedrzejczyk go up in weight and fight Rousey. She has some mad skills - excellent striking and takedown defense.

Ronda should go down 20 lbs to fight Joanna. Why not?

Either way, I would love to see it.

On another note, it was announced that Tony Ferguson will fight Khabib. I have been very impressed with Ferguson, and would love to see him finish Khabib. Khabib is a very effective fighter, but I find wrestling-based fighters are the most boring to watch, ones who don't use anything else.

Also, Urijah Hall is fighting Armand's boy, Mousasi. Should be a very interesting fight.

I like Hall, but I think Mousasi is a bit too experienced for Hall.

Hall is an extremely dangerous striker. He pulls of things that you just don't expect, or can predict.

I expected this to be an easy fight for Mousasi. It went exactly as I figured in the 1st round.

I was more disappointed in Mousasi than I was impressed with Hall. Mousasi played the first round right, but completely forgot to respect Hall's striking and he paid for it. Major congrats to Hall, though. All the respect in the world to him for remaining calm and getting the job done. He even had a few nice reversals and submission attempts in the first round.

No doubt Rousey's stand up is questionable but don't take away from Holm. Holly Holm is an accomplished boxer / striker - shocking as it may seem, I'm not overly surprised. Every time Rousey tried to clinch, Holm broke free - strategy and execution was excellent for Holm.

In a rematch, I'd say Holm is the favorite - styles dictate match ups, it's a big reason many MMA fighters aren't undefeated.

    Congrats to Holly Holm!

Holly is awesome and I am in LOVE!

What a woman. A few days ago I told my good friend that Holly would KO Rousey.

Holly is a world boxing womens champ, she knows exactly what she is doing in regards to throwing her fists.

I thought the KO would come from her fists, but it was from her kick. But the left punch set it all up.

She outclassed Rousey, Rousey looked out of her league chasing Holly around the Octagon.

When they have their re-match, my money will be on Holly again. :)

Reminds me of Evander Holyfield - Mike Tyson. Holyfield was an unintimidated fighter. Mike Tyson went on record saying that while he was the perceived bully out of the ring, Holyfield was a quiet bully in the ring. Tyson also said he knew he couldn't beat Holyfield, and his frustrations manifested itself with the ear biting.

Holyfield said that in both fights, he knew Tyson was scared, and that he would beat him.

In a match up of different styles, Holyfield was superior in every aspect. Given how strong Holm's stand up is, I'd expect Rousey to get ko'd in a rematch.

Dillashaw / Barao - same thing.

The good thing is, the weight class is open again.
