did you ever try the window crank tool out?
How long did it take to get the window completely down?
I fear, that you will be drowned before you have opened the window wide enough to escape. Or even before you have fiddled off the cover.
In this scenario a hammer would be the more useful tool :)

    Best Regards
    Martin

North of $1500 I reckon if the spare bulbs holder is OEM and you sell as a package. Judging from recent eBay listings only.

I'll sell the window crank separately :)

I continue to wonder if my 1979 GTS set is correct. The wrenches are Polytools, it has the Tommy Bar spark plug wrench, and chrome pliers. Your thought?

Ron, can you take a look at the spark plug wrench? The kit seem to have a Tommy bar, but the plug wrench crown looks like the 328 one? It's hard to judge unless it's removed from the pouch and reveal the other side. Other items are good.

Not to be nitpicking, but do they really know all the details or just looking for period correct items?

Hard to say for the window crank and spark plug wrench unless it's removed from the pouch... Other items are typical for very late QV and 328.

I posted this to help the person who started this tread. He was looking for a toolkit that is correct for his car. My picture is the correct toolkit for a 1985 QV GTS US. Though, I don't know if there are any differences between US/non-US or GTS/GTB.

Then help him further by showing him and everyone else the entire piece if it's not too much trouble for you perhaps?

Excellent! Another set with the black Kravm pliers and 308 plug wrench. And that window crank also add differences to my research posted in another thread. Thanks a lot!

The three judges, especially the one that was the class head judge, knew all the details. There are other members, on FChat, that showed their 308 at the FCA International Concours this year that will agree.

Piezo....My car is in storage at another location, so will look at my tool kit when I can. I do recall, after seeing some info about spark plug tools, I found the one I have has an inside diameter of 21mm. Is that correct for a '79 308?

I totally agree with MREUS. Oh, man... do they check all the details.

My toolkit is not original to my car but was pieced together to be an all-original collection with the help of my Ferrari mechanic. During the FCA meet two judges discussed for several minutes about whether my screwdrivers were correct to the manufacture date range of my car, that the 14mm spanner was correct to the set that I had (it is), and whether the manufacture date of my car should have had the yellow jack vs. the black jack. Be assured that their scrutiny will be sufficiently stressful for you.
