To be honest, I am really wondering if Hamilton is actually saying everything that is reported about him.
It looks to me that the journos are increasingly taking the mickey out of him.

Alonso has already said the same thing about Vettel essentially. If we give Vettel a competitive team mate you'll see he will unravel. Ricciardo demonstrated that already.

Now that changes everything
Hamilton and Alonso usually praise each other because neither of them was able to outperform the other...So the other has to be great, makes perfect sense...
But neither of them outscored Button, so he must be the master

 

All this means is that kvyat is also very good. The current red bull and toro Rosso drivers seem to be exceptional.

Vettel won 4 championships in the best car and only had to prove to be better than webber. If all we had on Hamilton was his races vs rosberg then one may feel the same way. Difference is rosberg dominated Schumacher(albeit past his prime but counts for something). Hamilton also matched Alonso in his rookie year - Alonso being the man who sent Michael into retirement the first time.

My personal opinion is that there are 6-7 drivers in the field that are as good as if not better than Vettel. Button is exceptional and won the wdc the only time he had the chance. Not his fault he got sht cars for so long.


Give Vettel a team mate who isn't garbage and you will see his worth..

 

Put Verstappen in that 2nd merc and we'll see what's up!

 

Most of what he said is true. MS was known to cheat and Vettel hasn't had a top team mate like an Alonso and now Rosberg.
