I was told that the damage was to the rear fenders, rear plexi, and all the engine carbon pieces. May sound minimum but those items cost a lot to replace. Not so much for the repainting of the fenders. Anyway, good deal indeed if that's the selling price and if the ppi was clean.
IAG just put this one up: 2004 Ferrari 360 CS Challenge Stradale For Sale It looks really nice to me, but I'm partial to black.
kinda interesting how these obscure dealerships get these pristine cars ...they would have a hard time getting top dollar vs a Ferrari dealership or even a private sale Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Interesting, I assume it's consigned. I believe it's the same the owner that bought my twin turbo 400i which is also being sold through them. The CS was originally owned by an attorney in Cali and rarely got used. The current owner spent some good money acquiring it in the first place and bringing back to proper driving condition. What's the asking on it?
somebody explain to me what this classiche certificate is all about? I know what it is but by looking at wiki, I don't know what its really useful for?
In short, it certifies that the car - at that moment - is configured in the way that it left the factory. This means it has all original parts or has parts the factory considers original. You can get a classiche certification with a re-cast aftermarket block cast at the factory for example and still get certification. After the certification, the owner can then change parts and still claim they have a classiche certification.
ON a modern Ferrari? IMO it's worthless.....a joke really.... "This car has never been apart since it left maranello, is it okay?" "Yes, that will be $5000USD please..." "Thanks, okay..." It was intended to sort real vintage machines out of the bitsas. Not to be a label, like designer jeans!!
Being that it has never been apart since the factory, doesn't that mean NONE of the campaigns have been attended to (eg: cam variators, etc)?
No, the certification simply means it has the parts it's supposed to. Campaigns included. Mainly relevant for much older cars.
