    Hello everyone,

I wanted to ask your opinion on whether it would be a smart move to sell an enzo with 800 miles and add something on top and get a second hand laferrari?

    Thanks

Well, if you do own a 800mile Enzo there's no need to change for a LF as you won't drive it anyway, too. Prices for Enzos probably won't ever drop so no need to sell it. Yet. I would be more afraid of garagequeen related faults tbh.

No comparison, stripping aside hype Enzo is nowhere near the car a LaF is and was not even in its time (360 F1 gearbox etc). Go for it.

flip of a coin. They are both amazing cars. To own either one is fortunate. 800miles, Wow, that is NICE!

I love both. I think the Enzo looks a little better in certain angles. Love the Laferrari for it's noise, speed and the feeling of electronics (gearbox speed etc) is very current...

UK owner sold his Enzo recently citing the gearbox speed was very slow, compared to modern gearboxes (GTO/Scuderia speed is where it should be at IMO).

If i were you i would keep the Enzo. One of the last real supercars. It will never age. I personally prefer it more than the LaF. Still my favourite.

The LF is head and shoulders above the Enzo.

I too agree with the folks that say make the exchange BUT how much more cash would you be providing...?

What are the values of the Enzo and LaFerrari in your model?

As it obviously should be, being the next generation of Ferrari Supercar, engineered, developed & built years later...

    Agreed.

My advice would be to keep the Enzo (and perhaps add the LaFerrari if or when possible at a later date).

It occurs to me that the OP is more concerned with future valuations - hence the 800 mile Enzo. Yes in all performance aspects newer is better. But if looking at future values only which would you buy?

If you have an Enzo with only 800 miles, you need a different type of advice. ;)

Clearly you have no time to drive your car so why bother with an LaF

Enzo is legendary, Laferrari is just a very fast Ferrari, in the future Enzo price will overtake Laferrari prices

Really? Why do you think that the LF won't be as legendary?

How difficult will it be for you to find an Enzo with 800 miles in the future- vs- same question to find LF in the future? And where do we think future values for these cars are going?

In your spot I would look to a plan that allows me to keep the Enzo and add the LF either now or later. The pattern with these cars seems to be cars like the Enzo are now mostly in longer term ownership- whereas the newer car will be more volatile and likely a few more opportunities to find one over the next few years.

You've said what I was trying to say in an earlier post, only better, and with elaboration as to why.

    I agree with this entirely.

From the same resons why F40 is legendary and F50 is not. :D (btw personally I like F50 much more but one person taste is not relevant, humanity decide that F40 is an icon, the only reason why F50 still cost more is because F40 was built in much higher volumes)

How is the LF related to the F50? Sorry, this is totally arbitrary. For many the F50 is better than the F40, mind you.

I would keep the Enzo, as it may very well be the last normally-aspirated supercar from Ferrari.
