It has been said that since the launch of mentortips.com he has now paid back the people he scammed . Not sure if there is any truth to this, can anyone confirm?

I hate that this scumbag got away with taking people's future away.

His character is out of this world , he literally tells everyone he is better than them and as such the idiots praise him for that. Makes no sense.
"Hey I'll be your mentor for 97 dollars but just know you will never be better than me"

Hey I'm worth 25 mil but had my cars repoed, lost my wife, and film from my moms kitchen but yeah I'm worth 25 mil.

Other than here... where was that said? Other than by you... who said that?

I can confirm there is absolutely no truth to that statement. Reza is an unconscionable criminal. He will continue to steal from whoever possible until stopped by someone other than himself. He will never make restitution to his victims by his own accord. When he is eventually apprehended/prosecuted and legally prodded to "make amends" the chances of that actually happening are extremely low.

Clearly, Mr. Tendy is just another sad troll-ish figure that enrolled in F-chat just for this thread. Creating false rumors (attempting to anyway) to add to whatever mystery and murkiness remains about this pos.

Why bother if he has already gotten away with it. Doing so would admit wrong doing and taint his "stellar" reputation as it now stands,
Are people out there really that gullible?(and stupid?)

It's incredible that there is always that one person who tries to stir up some bull****. Talk about being a troll.

I am not here to be spoken to in such a manner especially when I have only been respectful . What I had stated is not false rumors, unfortunately since you can "absolutely confirm" no truth to the statement then his cult is unfortunately being fed this information because they all including me believed there could be some truths.

I guess I gave it consideration because if you are facing severe legal issues , I would definite fix it, or attempt to before anything happens to make MY situation better not so much to make amends. I do not for one second think he is a good person so again I asked because it's what has been said on periscope and again felt he was simply trying to protect his ass but at the same time arleast ppl who went into financial ruin over this can actually get their money back.

He tries to state he is the "realest" so he speaks of his wrongs as his way of empowering himself. He is obviously a huge narcissist, iv never experienced such a person whom compares him self to a god but here he is and yes as sad it is , people are that gullible and stupid including my self. As I stated in my prior response, I did not for one second this criminal would redeem him self out of the goodness of his heart but only to save his own ass. By paying restitution he could avoid a lot of trouble which unfortunately seems he is going to get away with anyway.

Paying back the money that you have stolen from a bank (or investors) will not negate the act.
This person is going down in one of the most spectacular crashes of the century.

Somebody with the power, the will and the resources is going to go after him and he won't know what hit him until it's too late.
I would take great glee in being that person......

Trendy may be evaluating the situation realistically, but for anyone to believe Reza is going away anytime soon is speculation: He has slipped through the gears better than RedLine and I'm believing this thread will be an endless gnashing of teeth for some time by all that want him caught legally. However, ^ ... thinking Reza is more at risk to his personal being by a random act of 'justice' than the legal system. Truly, he's playing with fire and we know how that ends.

<ADMIN NOTE: This post is in reference to a Canadian individual.>

    Hi all,

You may remember me as Phil, one of the investors who has lost money in the CTM debacle. In the hellacious journey I've been through in the last 9 months or so, I have spoken to Mr. Mokhtarian on the phone in numerous and lengthy instances. It is very difficult to put together all the facts being in the United States, though I have investigated from many angles.

As best as I can ascertain, Reza has a storied past and is a guy who has lived life as someone who has been through many trials, living on the edge without a thought for the future. He is not a bad man at heart, but certainly a flawed character who has made many mistakes, as he himself has admitted. I do believe he is trying to rectify many things, if nothing else, for the sake of his daughter.

The legality of the circumstances surrounding CTM are difficult to ascertain without a full investigation. Many of the characters involved in this story are flawed in their own way - based on my first, unfortunate, and surely last experience in the forex industry - it's full of seedy characters. But of course most did not expect or deserve this to happen.

But this horse has been beat to death, and I am not here to talk about Reza. As this point, I would like to to introduce you to another character in this story, and provide an answer to the question many of you have asked: how do otherwise intelligent people get involved in situations like this? Allow me to tell you my story, so it may serve as a cautionary tale to others.

Because even without specific intention to screw you, through negligence, lies, and greed, others can still put you in harm's way.

You may recall Brendan from earlier in this thread. He is the marketing genius who attempted to recruit forex clients in the middle of a 90+ page thread about the unregulated, seedy world of forex and the things that can (and often do) go wrong.

Brendan induced me to invest by showing me his verified positive trading record over the last year or two, and indicated that he had hundreds of thousands of dollars of client money in his fund, including personal money, that he traded with CTM. He then pushed me to invest as much as possible; if I had invested the amount he was pushing for, my family would have been completely ruined by this situation. Finally, he contracted to be personally liable for my 'trading losses' should they arise. The trading management agreement indicated that we would split profits. At the time, I was completely ignorant of the dangers of the forex world, though he should not have been.

As it turns out, Brendan never had any money (personal or client) invested in CTM.

We all know the rest of the story. Fast forward to where I am having difficulty withdrawing my money:

After a few days of trying to withdraw part of my 'profits', I started looking around for information on CTM and Reza, and within about 20 minutes I realized what was going on, and that my money was severely at risk. I immediately assumed that Brendan was 'in on it' given how hard he had pushed me to invest, and began to tear into him verbally. He responded by blocking my communication on Skype, while denying there was any issue.

Eventually I realized that he did not knowingly have a part in what happened in CTM, though surely he must have known there was risk, as evidenced by the fact that he purposely lied about the fact that he already had funds invested with CTM, when in fact his money was safely elsewhere. He also surely knew, as I now know, that US investors should not be allowed to invest in any foreign brokerage (as per the CFTC), as supposedly his client's money (if indeed it exists at all) had been previously expelled from another brokerage that stopped allowing US investors to trade for this reason.

Somehow during this period of him denying there was a problem, before I had any contact with Reza, Brendan bothered Reza enough to secure a commission payment from my original investment. Apparently this is common with "IB" relationships. But to secure this commission *while* his client's deposit is at risk? Undeniably despicable.

As if that weren't enough, a couple of months later while I was *still* trying to secure my funds, and he was well aware of the problem at this point and supposed to be helping ME get my investment back, he bothered Reza enough to secure *another*, even larger payment for the 'profits' from the trading. Again, my family (my father had invested with me) had over $100k that at this point looked to be lost in CTM hell, and he's negotiating for himself for non-existent profits!

A month or two later, after much arguing, he agreed to send those disbursements to me (as we both knew the money he had been sent was mine anyway), but not for 3-4 more months. At that point I told him to go f*ck himself and pay it to his lawyer. I don't think he believed me, but about two months later he was finally served with the lawsuit for the full remaining amount that I have not yet received back from this situation.

To this date, though the piece of **** has admitted to being unjustly enriched by the situation into which he fraudulently induced me to put my family's money at risk, he still refuses to send me money which he admits is mine, until a court orders it.

Reza Mokhtarian knows who he is. He knows how he has lived his life. Whatever your opinion of him may be, you have to offer at least a modicum of acknowledgement for someone is congruent with himself and the choices he has made.

Brendan? Well, there's nothing more dangerous than a piece of lying, greedy, spoiled, contemptuous, arrogant **** who nearly ruins another person's life through greed and misrepresentations, profits from it, seemingly has no remorse or desire to rectify it, and continually denies that he was at fault in any way.

For anyone who might consider becoming a client of Brendan in whatever industries he may decide to become involved with in the future, I offer you this example of his character.

Sorry to hear about what happened Phil. The finance industry is filled with these types of scum bags. Reza currently has his "mentortips" forex trading and is telling these kids to join a brokerage called fxchoice.. Haven't done much research on it but anything he spits out of his mouth is probably lies. He currently has about 500 subscribers to his $97 a month mentor ship program that should calculate to be $48,500/month and it's been about at least 3-4 months since he has this scam program rolling. I only believe the best way to invest your money is to invest it by yourself and not in anyone's hands. Again I'm sorry you had to go through this horrific issue and hope it gets resolved. I don't understand how these guys still operate.. Boggles my mind with disgust.

I am not privy to the content on MentorTips, and I don't feel like investigating that broker, but I can say this: I do believe Reza is attempting to provide a real service and solid information. He is quite an intelligent guy, and has a knack for teaching and entertaining groups, that cannot be denied.

Obviously his past ventures are in question. This one I believe is legitimate. It's no crime to offer investment and business strategies for a recurring fee, and I've seen far worse propositions on the Internet :).

However, now that Reza has recovered from his prior business' failure and is generating income, I do hope that he intends to make right any past wrongs there may or may not have been for those who patronized his previous business ventures.

Seriously? You really believe what you just posted?

Without the internet what do you think this guy would be and what he would be doing?
My guess is he would be a Telemarketer selling bogus annuities.
I know plenty of "good hearted" sociopaths.

This is probably the second or third time I've put this statement in this thread.

    "Well educated and persuasive.
    Enthralling, smooth talking.
Able to bend others to his will.
A heretic that believes that all his impulses are divine.
A Psychopath, indifferent to the sufferings of others".
