Your Ferrari is pretty, but the Rocket takes the cake. One of my favorite airplanes.

Knew I should have gotten photos of the F-111 with the Dino, Daytona, and 308 GTS. Maybe a Jim Dietz painting instead.

Sure it did... was done all the time.
They could get 3 of them in a C-46.

    Love that...my favourite yet.

Would love to see the two stallions as a B&B...B model Mustang and GTB. Now that, would be really sweet!

What year did they do a Ferrari vs. F-16 at Luke days??? It was always Viper vs. F-16 when I lived down there and shot Luke days as an invited media photographer.

Grass is too green for Luke and they had no hardened aircraft shelters last time I checked. Could be Danish or Dutch F-16, too. Plus looks like a NATO standard 8000'x150' runway.

You might be correct but the Ferrari looks like it has a AZ plate on it.

Funny. When I posted that, I never even thought about where it was. Definitely not Luke field. Terry is right, no HASs at Luke, anywhere. The marking on the rear fuselage really does look like a nato country roundel, but I can't make it out. The field looks European for sure. Then, to really wonk up the analysis is the Arizona plate on the Ferrari. All very mysterious.

Regarding Viper v. Viper races, here's one:

It's funny because "Nugget" Richards was my IP when I was in RTU for the Viper after med school.
