Thank you, I agree, great car, but I am after a coupe. Even going to LA I never put the top down, I never use it.
In Holland ? Ferrari Mondial 8 74000KM AIRCO ZWITSERSE AUTO - Oldtimers - Marktplaats.nl Chassis number 039751. Nice car but 74196 km. enzo52
in Holland... ? Ferrari Mondial Cabriolet Quattrovalvole 3.0i V8 235 PK, 80. - Oldtimers - Marktplaats.nl Very good looking car with 80180 km enzo52
same here but I think the cab top has a better line , also seems that there is more room in the cab back than the coupe maybe its just perception but I rode in a coupe and it felt "smaller"
let's have a look on my mondial. after one year of restauration now it's finished maybe there's a interested? FERRARI QV 3.0, Occasion, Benzin, 85'000 km, CHF 55'000.- - AutoScout24
Yesterday I visited this car: Ferrari mondial, Auto's, Dilbeek | Kapaza.be The ad states that the car is in perfect condition. Unfortunately, it wasn't. Very bad paintjob done some years ago with a lot of problems with the varnish. Serial nr is 41993, must have been one of the very first QV's. Was the showroom model at Ferrari Monza, sold to a belgian surgeon and some other previous owners, but no history at all and no service records. After that, I visited a guy who had two Mondials in parts in his garage. Was a real barn find in a garage fully stacked to the ceiling with numerous parts from both Mondials and Testarossa's, 308, etc... It concerned cars 64413 (Mondial 3.2 grey/tan) without engine and transmission and RHD Mondial QV 51235 red/grey with a Mondial 8 engine fitted. Both cars were stripped for 50%, 2 massive project cars. Thanks to Jurgen, we found a picture of how the grey one used to look. It WAS a gorgeous car. Anyhow, they guy wanted to sell me the whole lot because he didn't have the time to finish the cars (started many moons ago and didn't touch them for years after that).
Lesson #1 -- Always do a roll forward restoration. ie drive it while you fix it. Don't ever try to do a ground-up restoration unless you are a paid professional; I have seen too many barn parts.
This car was for sale in Holland in 2013 asking price: 21.500,- First Floor classics. Nice Profit in about two years.
Another t Coupe - One of 43: ZFFFD32A6K0082097 30,000 miles and listed for $69,900. 1989 Ferrari Mondial T Coupe Cambelt service completed Sept 2015 . Image Unavailable, Please Login
Went for a walk today and visited this car: Ferrari Mondial 3.2 QV | Beau Car At first sight: pretty colour and nicely polished. On second sight: rust in all the known places + much more places I haven't seen rust before... Repainted 2 years ago on top of the rust instead of solving the rust issue! Paint was already peeling off in some places - OMG !!! Even rust on the inside of the light pods. Truly shameless paintjob. Guy was asking for 42500 euro firm... Many things were missing like battery cover, no engine protection cover in aluminium on the bottom, many drilling holes around the place where the spare wheel is. Really unbelievable what people dare asking for buckets of rust! I'm sorry, I'm somewhat shocked by this. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very sad indeed. But sellers like those know that people buy stuff sight unseen all the time. No ethics or recourse in sales... Thanks for providing insight on this car to the Mondial community.
Looks utterly fabulous from that angle and the silver above is gorgeous, but good job we have spotters about worldwide helping to see through the glossy pictures.
haha still for sale then I think it is a bit expected to be in this condition if one puts extra fog light on it, but always fun to have a look. I think you guys have more for sale then in NL. Also hardly any Mondials are bought by Dutchmen, which I regret. but hey more spare parts for me
Yeah, well, I have visited the Mondials below 50.000 euro in Belgium and my conclusion is: most of them are in real bad condition. Same story as with the other Ferrari's for sale here: everybody sells, but practically nobody buys!
I agree a lot of crap is for sale unfortunately and they all want the grand price. I had an offer on my Mondial for 48.5000 Euro four weeks ago and the chap has chased me two months earlier as well. It crossed my mind, but then what... I can buy another one back and go through all the lack of maintenance again so I don't gain anything.
me too. in the last eight years we had indeed suffer a lot, but also had a lot of fun, that's wy i keep the car.
