Makes sense to me, the sheer combination of price increases with the vast number of different cars out there affected by the fever pitch price rise (e.g. air-cooled Porsche & GT cars; Ford GT; E-Types; BMW M cars; the 2K or so units of LaFa, P1, 918; the "volume" Ferraris like 308/328, and so many more) just seems unsustainable to me. If you are a knowledgeable enthusiast, you are scratching your head - who's willing to buy a car that was 25% or more less last year and 25% less the year before that and .... I've seen some very knowledgeable collectors liquidating collections in the past year and I know I am not buying the popular stuff right now. I saw a 1997 993TT listed at nearly $800K the other day. WTF?
Love the RS in black!! I couldn't get my RS as a paint to sample (PTS) so I ordered one of the boring standard colours... The car just came in this week (about a month early) and will be picking it up tomorrow...it will sit beside my lava black 11 RS. An early Christmas present to myself.

Has anyone sourced a factory rear roll cage for a U.S. spec 991GT3RS? Are the tabs already welded in or do they need to be added? Seems to be plenty of information about aftermarket bolt-in cages. I am specifically looking for info on the factory assembly. Any leads where to order one? Freeman

Saw my first RS yesterday at Bentley Gold Coast in Chicago. Looks great in person! They really backed it up close to that column... They had a Veyron (same one from last year iirc), a Saleen S7, a Countach upstairs, and a classic blue Porsche 911 Speedster upstairs.
