I suspect Verstappen will be #1 on this list before long.
Surprising that Grojean didn't make the list.
Interesting how much equity Alonso has; his season wasn't too different from Button's running around the back yet here he is.

How you can assess drivers from Manor and McLaren given the woeful performance of their cars?

I'd boot Alonso off the list and everyone behind moves a spot up, and have Sainz added somewhere between 6th and 10th.

Bottas is my least improved driver. Not at all dealing with Massa in anyway that the hype suggests from the past. His stock is down and is not in a position to rise further.

Perez is destroying him and Hulk. Perez is my driver of the year. Max is too young to worry about right now and Id wait another year for him to grow more. and Perez was almost doing an Alonso with the Force India. He was more than impressive and developed nicely this year.

Massa is enjoying a nice post Ferrari career unlike the haters here who said he would be lucky to be a backmarker. Bottas has one more year to convince me he is the next big thing. If anything he is about average and no better than Massa.

Id add Button to the list. Did well with a dog car and was not destroyed by FA. Next year this list could look very different. Oh well....they are the masters and are in the paddock to see the numbers for each driver.

What a lousy poll. Obviously the team principals will vote for their own drivers. I can't imagine Toto voting for Seb or Kimi..

I'm not honestly. What did he do this year that impressed you? 3rd at Spa? Other than that, his entire season was forgettable IMHO. I'm honestly worried about him joining Haas next year.

Yah that is crap IMO. Button had as good or better of a season and with far less temper tantrums.

Kvyat is very impressive to me personally and gets very little discussion in the broadcasts.

You know you can't have it both ways, right? If the voting is a joke, then maybe Lewis isn't no 1.

It's sort of dumb anyway, how can they possibly really judge?

Kimi did have 3 podiums this year. Who, other than Vettel, Hamilton and Rosberg, can say the same?
