Well our car has finally finished production and we have scheduled to fly over to Italy and take the ceremonial delivery on December 15th. The excitement is almost unbearable! Our spec is Bianco Fuji with Rosso Coburn stripe and Bordeaux leather. I will post more pictures of our adventure once I have them.

Coburn sets off very well against Avus. Very nice.
How does Rosso Coburn and the Bordeaux match each other? Are they similar or ?

Actually I have never seen Coburn/Avus as our car is Bianco Fuji, but I'm sure it would look beautiful! The Bordeaux/Coburn are fairly similar though and it will be a good match. We almost went with Rosso Fiorano which we have on our Bianco Avus/Bordeaux GTO. The Coburn was much deeper which is what we were looking for.

Actually a member here did Tailor Made with his Speciale and he created this color at the factory. (they named it after him as his last name is Coburn). Luckily he made this color available to anyone who wishes to spec it on their cars. If you want to see pictures of his car look at the Triple Layer Paint thread in the 458 section.

Ah yes, the Avus was a slip on my part. But it does work well with Fuji as that was what I meant:)

I do remember following the thread about the tri layer colours and really liking the Rosso Coburn. By deeper, do you mean darker or more rich and lush so to speak?

Definitely one of the nicest looking SA's I've seen.

    Congrats

Thank you very much! By deeper I mean that it seemed more rich. It really depends on what lighting you are seeing it under.

    I remember reading about that.

From what I understand, you will take delivery in the showroom in the old Foundry (in between the two Atelier showrooms)? But it isn't European delivery as in you take the car for 2 weeks to zip about Europe?

You are correct. We won't literally be able to take the car and have it in our possession. We will do the delivery like you said and then have the car shipped to the US.
